I have Windows 10 on a Surface Pro 3. I am trying to use Visual Studio Code. Unfortunately, there seems to be no combination whatsoever where I can run my program. Any time I hit F5 or ctrl f5 or shift f5, the windows 10 search bar from the OS pops up. I have an Nvidia 1070 and three monitors. Two are 1080p one is 1440p. I run Windows 10 x64. Say I have google chrome (it happens to other windowed apps) maximized on one of the side 1080p monitors. SOMETIMES when I lock the computer and come back to it later (after the screens have gone to sleep -- my computer never goes into sleep mode though), the window will have shifted from maximized position to 50% to the right and 50% down but still the same size so it's off the screen...It's not always in that position though, but it seems like it thinks my screen is 1440p on the side and it repositions things weirdly. I'm not sure how to better describe this. I'm hoping someone has had this problem ...

I have two HP Z27s 4k monitors coected via DisplayPort to my hp PC ruing Windows 7. Due to issues related to font scaling, I've been ruing both for at least a month at 2560x1440 without significant problems. [I was getting some random banding that powering the monitor off and on fixed.] Today, one of the monitors started flickering ~2"-tall horizontal bands of noise at random places on the screen. In an effort to fix that, I set the Refresh rate to 30 Hz (it was 59 Hz on both monitors). When I did that, the display on that monitor shrunk down to not being scaled at all. I just received two Dell UltraSharp 24 U2415 monitors, which proudly boast "Award wiing monitor with unbeatable color". I am hooking these two up to a single laptop, an ASUS GL551K ruing Windows 10. One of them is via the provided Mini DisplayPort cable, the other through an HDMI cable to HDMI input on the monitor. The problem is they both look bad. The whites are yellow, and as someone who stares at a sea of code all day, none of the colors look familiar. They look fine on the laptop, nice bright whites, but both of the Dells are no good. I have two LG monitors (different ones) coected to my PC, one via D-SUB and the other (a newer monitor) via HDMI. When my PC goes to sleep and sends the VESA sleep command, both of my monitors shut down and go to sleep. The D-SUB monitor's light tus yellow, but the HDMI one just completely shuts off. When I move the mouse and the screens come up from sleep, the D-SUB monitor tus on but the HDMI monitor stays off, and I have to tu it on by pressing the power button, after which it works fine. This happens both on Linux and Windows, so it's not a driver issue. Is there a setting that shuts off the screen completely, instead of sleeping it? Before everything. I had googled a lot and none of the solutions solved my problem.I had two monitor coected to a graphic card. I have a MSI GE62 6QD Apache Pro (that is my laptop full name) and it only has an HDMI port. I had desktop PC before with a monitor (It is a Acer S220HQL) but the coector is only a DVI-D port. So, I purchased a 'DVI to HDMI' convertor. Once it's all coected, my laptop recognizes the monitor (I see it in Device Manager) but the monitor stays black. Any idea how to fix? I have 4 monitors, 3 1080P's and a 1366x768. Just updated to Windows 10 Aiversary edition, now under display settings, whenever I move the 1336 to where it's supposed to be, it works for a couple of seconds and then snaps back. I have had this setup since Windows 8, and have never had issues. To clarify, the monitor works at the position I set it to for a couple of seconds (1 is to the left of 3) and then it snaps back to 1 being undeeath 3. Whilst 1 == 3, I can drag Windows to the left to move to that monitor, once it snaps back, I need to drag down again to move to that monitor. Any ideas? Let's block ads! بخوانید...

I have a Asus Sabertooth Z77 motherboard with the latest updated BIOS. This motherboard has an on-board graphics card with a HDMI interface. I also have a video card itself, I've got an EVGA GTX 680 with also an HDMI interface. This on-board graphics card works well, when I tu off my main video card (The GTX 680) in my device manager or boot up in safe-mode, I've got the on-board card working. The interface that is being used is for some reason still coming from the GTX 680. Now I bought 2 monitors, which are both coected via HDMI, one on my GTX 680 and one on the on-board video card itself. When I plug in an exteal monitor into my Thinkpad X230 Tablet PC with a VGA port, and extend the display to that monitor, the monitor's display is shifted 3 inches to the right. There is a large black gap on the left side of the monitor. The monitor has a setting to manually adjust the display position, but only shifts about an inch at its max. The gap is much larger than that. Ruing Windows 10, latest updates. I tried updating the Intel graphics drivers recently released on Lenovo's website, but no help. I have Win7 Win64, with a GeForce GTX 760 and a Haswell i5-4690. On GeForce I have my TV coected using HDMI and a 2560x1600 monitor coected with DVI-D. On Haswell I have a 2560x1440 monitor, an old but very good 1680x1050 monitor, plus my new Yamaha A2050 receiver coected using HDMI. To make this simple: When I try to play Overwatch (or any game, using Overwatch as the example) on my Lenovo Y570 on its own LCD, it averages about 30 FPS, with the sound quality going down with it, until the sound is audibly slideshow-ing. However, when I hook up a Lenovo P2770HD laptop and output my video there, I easily hover around 60 FPS. What interests me most is that the resolution increases, so that's not an issue (1366x768 -> 1920x1080). Completely dumbfounded as to what could possibly cause this. I've been googling a lot on this, but I find moslty "how to switch computers using multiple monitors or with keyboard&mouse with / without KVM switch". But what I would like to know is how to swith one comouter with an another virtually, like if you usually use deaktop computer, then you need to go to a meeting and swap deaktop with laptop to bring "desktop" over to the meeting. I've seen someone pressing some hotkey or something on desktop, then monitors on desktop & laptop swapped, now he was using "desktop" on laptop, "laptop" on desktop. I am searching for a tool which can display data from REST calls dynamically on a GUI. The results are rather tables with several columns or key-value pairs so in general speaking pretty simple structured. It is known for every REST call how the result is structured so the incoming data has to be entered in some kind of template eg an table with 3 columns. I am having some issue creating a 3rd monitor for my laptop. I have an HP Pavilion 15-p080ca Notebook, with an attached AOC e1759fwu USB Monitor. The graphics card is an AMD Radeon HD 8610G. I am trying to hook up a tablet which supports 1920 x 1200 resolution. The way to do this is to go into your device settings, detect monitor, and when the 3rd uncoected monitor tus up, you try and coect to it via VGA and it activates. My problem is this 3rd monitor is defaulted to 800x600 and the option to increase is grayed out. I have a MySQL database that was created from data output by another application. On of the columns is for an email address, however the data in this column is all duplicates. For example, the "email" for a single record looks like this "[email protected],[email protected]". I would like the field to contain the address just once. Is there a way through a MySQL command, to remove anything from the , onward? I know I can write a PHP script to loop through all the data, but i was hoping there was a simpler way through MySQL. I have a Windows 10 setup with 2 different monitors (brands, resolutions, sizes, and DPI) and when my computer wakes up from sleep, all of my applications are moved to one monitor. The applications that were maximized are also all improperly sized (they don't extend across the whole monitor like the should, but the windows show that they are maximized) My video card is a GTX 970, one monitor is a Dell P2715Q, and the other is a Korean Amazon special (2560x1440, Dual-DVI IPS Screen).
