Nowadays in my classroom I show video tutorials that I made for my students related to CG-apps, Excel, etc. using a utility that shows keyboard and mouse combinations named Moukey. for some cases like on a projector in the classroom it doesn't detect my Windows 10 and I don't want to call the technician. Also, I mostly like using OSX (of my dual boot MAC), sometimes and I'm looking for an OSX El Capitan version of this Key and Mouse Stroke Displayer. In conclusion, I'm looking for an OSX Version that can display mouse and Keyboard keystrokes/combinations with mode signs similar to Moukey. yesterday, I updated my Windows 10 x64 Build 1607 installation, and after the updates were finished, I decided to manually reboot. That took me to a black screen with a set of white circles rotating at the lower end of the screen. This process didn't stop, so after 10 minutes or so I began googling on another computer, finding a possible solution: unplug any USB receivers, and when I tried this with the USB receiver of my Logitech M510 mouse, Windows booted immediately to my desktop. Unbelievable, but I would like to understand why this happens at all, especially regarding the fact that users reported similar behaviours back in 2015 already, so one would assume that Microsoft must have fixed...

Lets say I work on product x. To update product x I need to perform a lot of steps which caot be scripted. Assume that 10 customers use product x and need an update. Instead of performing all the steps one at the time I was wondering if it is possible to duplicate/mimic my mouse cursor on a second/third screen so I can work on multiple updates simultaneously. I just upgraded to windows 10( with chrome as my browser ) but just like when I was using windows 7, I still could not use the mouse wheel to scroll up/down.I used to be able to click on a page ,then tu the wheel to move a page up/down. What I actually have to do now is to click on a blank area of any page ,let the star shaped thing appear,then move the mouse up or down a bit and the page automatically moves,the wheel does absolutely nothing. I have a really weird problem (thankfully not on my own computer). Since recently a computer hardly reacts to mouse clicks. Whenever the computer starts you have a single chance to open a application through menu bar. After that the menu bar reacts to nothing and the open program sometimes only reacts to very specific input with no indication what that input will be. Often you can still use the keyboard input but right now I can only access the computer through TeamViewer and not all key combinations get sent through. I recently purchased a mouse and upon trying it I find the following problem: When the mouse is stopped and I try to move it just a little bit, it doesn't move at all until I push it far enough and it jumps and overshoots the target. This is similar to this question, except that the problem occurs only when moving the mouse from a dead stop, and only when trying to move it just a little bit. Since some days I have a problem with my Laptop. I sometimes close the lid, when I do not need the laptop. The laptop does not power down or standby (set in power options), simply the screen goes off. When I open the lid again, everything is normal, but: Often the mouse cursor is not visible anymore. The mouse is useable, I can open windows, I can hover over the start button and I see the icon changing, as when the mouse cursor is there. But the cursor is invisible. Ok so the problem first started with the mouse about 2 weeks ago the mouse started discoecting and recoecting. It stopped for about 2 days and now its back and worse than ever. Now its happening to my keyboard the lights on my mouse and keyboard start flickering and then freezes and forces me to do a hard reset. I can barely use my computer for 5 minutes before this starts to happen and the only way i can use it any longer is by resetting my mouse settings to factory settings every 30 seconds. Ruing into a really weird issue with a dualboot windows 10/windows 7 machine, with win10 installed as main OS and win7 on a secondary drive, with windows 10's fastboot disabled. Win10 is set as default boot option, and the boot menu is set to a 15 second timeout. If I boot the machine and let it time out or pick win10 explicitly, everything is fine. However, if I boot the machine (or restart from win10) and then pick windows 7, my keyboard lights tu off the moment windows 7 starts up, and neither my mouse nor keyboard work. After upgrading to Windows 10 on my Asus G74 laptop, scrolling a page with my mouse scroll wheel makes the window contents start flashing. Moving the scroll bar on the window stops the flashing and retus the window to the top of the page I was scrolling. If I only use the window scroll bar, all is fine; the problem only occurs when I use the mouse scroll wheel on my hardwired Dell mouse. The scroll wheel worked fine for years in Windows 7 and the mouse works fine on my desktop pc. I recently bought a new Windows 10 box which is a laptop. For whatever reason, when my laptop goes to sleep and then I wake it back up, my exteal USB mouse no longer works and the only way for me to navigate is either to use the trackpad OR unplug the mouse and plug it back in... The latter is a pain because the USB already fits kind of snug and it creates uecessary wear on the port. Things I've tried: Went to Control Panel - Edit Power Plan -> Advanced -> USB -> Disabled "selective suspend" for USB ports... Problem still persists. For some reason on KDE my mouse will stop moving in two scenarios, only to be fixed by logging off via ALT+F2 (logout): Computer naturally suspends after timeout. Shutting lid. Both scenarios can be solved by locking before closing lid. It's been an existent issue for a long time, even before plasma desktop, but only on the KDE family of DEs, non other. I'm open to dishing out any files and information, just let me know what else to drop, if I can't find out anything from here I'll file a bug report to KDE. PrtScn does not capture the mouse pointer. It seems like a very basic feature that should be available by default so that we do not have to move to a third-party software. My question is: Why did the developers make PrtScn like that?...

Whenever I use razercfg on my Razer Deathadder Chroma, it freezes for like a quarter of a second. I'm trying to do visual feedback of how quickly I press my mouse by changing the color of the leds, and that disturbs gameplay because every time I click I plan on increasing the red RGB value of the color by 5 and about 5 times a second I'm plaing on removing 1 from that value, so pretty much that would make gameplay impossible at all, because the mouse would be frozen at all times. So my question is: is there any way to change the led color without freezing the mouse at all? It's ok if it works with only a little difference from the current color, since that is what I'm plaing anyways. Let's b...

I am ruing Xubuntu 14.04.4 LTS as a guest under VirtualBox Version 5.0.22 r108108 on a OS X El Capitan 10.11.15 host, on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013). In multiple monitor setup mouse often unintentionally leaves the screen e.g. when trying to click close, trying to click the scroll bar. Just power cycle the computer. Windows should reinstall the drivers automatically. If your power button is set to tu of the computer, you should be good to go - unless you have unsaved documents, then it will wait for a response you cant give. Windows 10, Dell XPS 13 (around half-a year using it; from dell's website) Believe this is due to a the 'bad/long' shutdown screen (that actually made it go to sleep instead) Please know before this, I had a very long shutdown screen, after I pressed cancel (other option Shutdown anyway) when some app was still ruing and asked if I wanted to quit and save before shutdown. I went for a walk, when I came back I pressed the power button and the lock screen was shown (it was sleeping I suppose) without shutting down or restarting I just signed in, and then presented with a black screen with only my mouse cursor.
