KDE mouse stops moving after suspend

For some reason on KDE my mouse will stop moving in two scenarios, only to be fixed by logging off via ALT+F2 (logout):

1. Computer naturally suspends after timeout.
2. Shutting lid.

Both scenarios can be solved by locking before closing lid.

It's been an existent issue for a long time, even before plasma desktop, but only on the KDE family of DEs, non other.

I'm open to dishing out any files and information, just let me know what else to drop, if I can't find out anything from here I'll file a bug report to KDE. Another unrelated issue is that hibeation only works when the battery is low and then it forces hibeationa, that may correlate somehow.
