I am trying to install an exe using C# code (.net framework 4.5) and PowerShell script in remote machine. The remote machine's OS is Windows 7 and its PowerShell version is 3. The exe has been moved to the location in the remote machine but it's not getting installed. But the same when I tried to install in remote machine which has Windows 8.1 OS and PowerShell version 4 it's getting installed correctly. I am trying to install Wordpress using Microsoft's web platform installer. I went to the Microsoft website and downloaded the installer, and it walked me through the installation. I was prompted to set a MySQL password and it then started installing MySQL itself and froze. It shows download progress at 100% but this progress bar has been going for about an hour now. I have an Intel DH55TC motherboard, had a 2GB DDR3 RAM installed on it and have been using it for about 3 to 4 years. Recently i thought of upgrading the RAM to 8 GB and bought two 4GB DDR3 Kingston HyperX RAM sticks(4GB x 2). To install the new RAM sticks i removed the old RAM stick, inserted the new ones and tried starting the system. I checked the BIOS menu and it was recognizing both of my RAM sticks. But once the OS(Windows 7 64bit) boot is about to start, system is getting into rebooting loop. I removed both the new RAM sticks and tried starting the system again with a single 4GB RAM stick but still the system enters into the loop. Once i put the old RAM in Windows is booting properly....

I installed zsh and switched shells, and then after curling oh-my-zsh, LXTerminal and Termite do not open. I deleted oh-my-zsh and my zshrc and they still do not open. Any ideas? I have a SeaGate Hard Disk (with 4TB capacity) which has the code number ST4000VX000-1F4168 (Surveillance HDD). I am trying to install Windows 7 in it and Windows 7 only detects 2TB capacity and not 4TB. So, I followed the details explained in this link, I coected the 4TB Hard Disk to another computer as a secondary HDD.Then followed the details from the link above to make it GPT. Then the computer detected the 4TB. So I created 4 partitions (1TB each). Then coected the 4TB HDD back to the original computer and this time Windows 7 says it caot install Windows on GPT partitions. Then I followed the instructions on this YouTube video. Would it be possible to write a batch file command to download and install the most recent Visual C++ redistributables onto a users machine during application install? We would prefer not to package them up in our setup file to minimize size, and the easiest solution would be to add on to an existing batchfile which is already a part of our setup process. I am interested to replace my BIOS on my Thinkpad x220, because I want to remove the white list for other wifi cards. At first I was thinking to use a modificated BIOS from one of these russian boards, but I don't trust them. I found out, that it's possible to use coreboot/libreboot. I want to install vpn server on windows/unix whichever runs best to bypass country restrictions to access web sites. The main purpose is the divert my all inteet traffic through coected vpn. I was trying to install Visual Basic 2010 and (since it didn't work) I tried 2008. I will tell you what happened to both. 2010: "setup.exe has stopped working" error happened when it tried to install the programs. Got various problems installing Kali using UNETBOOTin. Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro bought in 2014. Just want to completely remove windows and replace entirely with kali. Wireless card not found, trying to install and I can't get anywhere because of the wifi. The wifi only work on UEFI boot and nothing else.
