I need to retrieve disk usage information for a smb/cifs share from ubuntu 12.04 to a netapp but passing user credentials. Currently I use the following command: user@host:~$ smbclient //sharesserver/fileshare$ -U DOMAINuser -c du This worked fine until smbclient was patched and is now not compatible with the netapp. As reported here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1327216 Is there another way you can think of to retrieve information about used disk space and total disk space for a smb/cifs share but authenticating with a users credentials? I was going to press Ctrl + Shift + H to format my code, but mistakenly I pressed some other key. Now the open-file tab-bar (i.e., just below the menu bar) has gone, including all the tabs. When I go to the Command Pallete, and press the "View: toggle tabs", it has no effect. I completely uninstalled Sublime Text 3 and then reinstalled it. Still the tab-bar doesn't show. I have a question similar to this one but I'm just using an Excel file, no CSV involved: Open a .csv file in Excel and have it update whenever .csv file changes I have an Excel file that I frequently edit in two ways: 1. manually like most end-users and 2. through an exteal application (R) that edits some of the content. I switch back and forth between these two methods. Is there a way to refresh the contents of the worksheet in Excel after R has edited the contents? Perhaps some VBA code or plug-in? The LAN with the problem has about 5 Win 8.1 PCs and a unix file server. The file server also acts as browser master via samba. File sharing works fine, each machine can see the others - except one (call it \JANE, with IP = 192.168.1.5). \JANE isn't seen by any machine (including itself) in Windows explorer -> Networks. I can access it using \JANE or \192.168.1.5 and then it is listed in Explorer, but open a new explorer window and it's missing again. I can also remote desktop to it using \JANE, and ping it. It appears in the other computers when I enter net view in cmd.exe. But I can't seem to fix the inconsistency that all other machines appear in Explorer and this one doesn't. It's surely...

I have a DynamoDB table which using Lambdas now feeds all newly added/modified rows into a Redshift table. Now I'm trying to backfill the rest of the Dynamo table into the Redshift table however the names don't correspond at all. For example, the "id" column in Dynamo has been named to "person_id" (to be more consistent with our other services). Is there a way to tell the COPY command to map (id -> person_id, ...)? I have recently started a new business and have had a template Microsoft Word 2016 document prepared for me to use as headed note paper. There is an image in the header. I have been modifying the Header styles (e.g. Header 1, Header 2 etc.) - which is all fine. However, when I apply a chosen style (e.g. Header 1) to the text, it seems to place a text box around the text - why?! There is also a blue anchor next to the text box. Can anyone please help me? Pretty basic question - I've looked at the Ubuntu documentation wiki (which is the documentation linked from the gufw.org website), but it doesn't even mention the "report" information never mind explain the interpretation. The most basic question is what do the red and black colouring mean, presumably they're ports that are allowed/blocked respectively? I've been trying enlightenment as DE in Debian Jessie. Unfortunately, they dropped the xembed support in E20, so only libappindicator-aware applications show up on the systray. Theoretically, nm-applet supports appindicator since 0.8.3, but it doesn't show up in the systray. blueman for example does show in the systray libappindicator1 and libappindicator3-1 are installed. My initial hypotheses were: e20 is SOMEHOW reporting it provides an xembed-capable systray and some applications use it by default, falling back on libappindicator when not available nm-applet still does not work using libappindicator. I would have hoped for an error message but since it freezes, it apparently mounts it as requested, making the whole system lose reference to its resource mounts (/proc and /sys), its library references, any other mounts, and possibly other stuff. As the title describes. Basically I know how to sync a customunofficial app to my tv by using a developer account. But the problem is, when i want to add a second custom app, the old app would remove it self. After a puzzle in puzzles.SE which involved a hidden file appended to a gif, I have a question regarding appended .rar files. By this question I understand why I can add a .rar file content at the end of any known image format, as long as such format declares their data length in some way that any compliant reader would load only the required amount of bytes, and not read until end of file. I can generate such file like this: $ cat myimg.jpg myhidden.rar > myimg.jpg Which works for any of the mentioned formats and will happily open as a regular image in the image viewer. When trying to create a new "Hosted Web App" UWP project in VS 2015 Enterprise Update 2, it seems to create the project (the Solution Explorer shows the files) but when I try and launch it, it says its needs to be saved before I can add a project. So I click "Save" and choose the location to save it as, but when I hit that save button comes up. It will create the folder for the solution, but then do nothing else. I have a HP ZBook 15 which is ruing Windows 10. While using it, the keyboard suddenly froze so I decided to restart it. Upon restarting it, I encountered this error: 'The system has detected that a cooling fan is not working correctly'. It then said that proceeding to startup may cause damage to the laptop and that it is recommended to shut it off again, so I shut it off.
