Desktop apps can be hidden from the All apps view by simply right clicking them and clicking view in Explorer. From there you can delete the shortcut and the application is hidden from the All apps view. However with universal apps there is no such button. How do I get --ntasks-per-node to work with job arrays? I have a test where I submitted a job array of 1-5000 using --ntasks-per-node=2 onto a grid with 36 nodes appearing in sinfo... and it's ruing >1000 jobs at a time. I've also tried using --tasks-per-node, --ntasks, etc, even tried both --ntasks=1 and --ntasks-per-node=2 and nothing limits it. I'm guessing Slurm's model of this is messed up and "arrays" don't count against the number of tasks so, while each individual job within an array is limited, the total array isn't limited. I'm trying to add an Application Pool Identity user to folder permissions in Windows Server 2012 Standard, Build 9200. This is IIS 8.0. When I try to add the user IIS APPPOOLExampleAppPoolIdentity Windows reports that the Name is not found. All Object types are selected, and Locations is set to the local machine. I have a couple of computers ruing on XP (can't upgrade the O.S. without updgrading the hardware and currently we can't afford it) that run an specific application. The application uses a database on a central server (ruing 2012 R2). I would like to prioritize the traffic from/to the computers to/from the server, so that I could speed up that application. I have a switch with administration capabilities (HPE 1620) that supports DSCP. I've seen that on Windows 7 I can set a DSCP mark to the traffic from an specific application (Policy Based QoS). A friend has two google accounts and one chromebook. Neither google account will display the app page on the chromebook. Prolly not helpful, but included is a screen capture of the message. screen capture showing the "Page Not Displayed" message Logging into any other computer using either of his two google accounts does properly display the app page. Logging out and in on the chromebook doesn't change things. Clearing the cache on the chromebook doesn't help. I've asked him to check his proxy settings, and to have a friend try yet a different google account. He's stumped, I'm stumped--are you? The way to change the icon picture of desktop aliases as described here which worked in Yosemite doesn't seem to work in El Capitan any more. When I paste from the clipboard an other icon's picture as described, the target alias's picture remains unchanged, but its size increases as seen in the Info dialogue. This is quite odd. I know about the new System Integrity Protection feature in El Capitan, but I'm trying to change the picture of a desktop alias that points to a non system application. Any hints? I am ruing Windows 7 x64 and have two drives, C and D respectively. D is within a RAID array ruing under Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST). The exteal HDD in question is a CN Memory Spaceloop 2TB 3.5'' USB 3.0, and was newly bought. The problem: I start copying files from D to this HDD as to back them up, and leave the PC at it. After a while, Windows is logged out and after logging in, my D drive is missing. Disk management says Disk 1 is unallocated. On another attempt, instead of logging out from Windows, I got a BSOD. After rebooting and starting Windows, my D drive was gone. Because D is part of a RAID array, I can rebuild this volume via IRST and everything goes back to normal. How...

When setting up the XBox game app, and the XBox DVR game bar, I must have checked the box that Chrome is a game app. How do I undo that? Every time I open Chrome, the game bar pops up. pressing the space bar causes programs to close. I don't know if it's a virus or what, already ran AVG anti-virus scan and it didn't help. It looks like when i click the spacebar this opens up and that's how it closes applications. If i press the spacebar multiple times it'll cycle through my open apps trying to close them... I have used databases and pivot tables for more than 16 years and have never had a problem. Now, with the new Excel 2016 I am having repeated issues of a column or row not being included in the pivot table. Sometimes I'm able to "wake it up" by copying and pasting the row or column on top of itself, but not always. Sometimes I copy and past the entire database to a different worksheet and then it may work. Right now, I've tried all of those and nothing is working. I guess I will have to manually add the number it is missing back to the place it should be in the pivot table?? I am using Dropbox on my smartphone and two PCs (one laptop and one desktop). I just found that some of my pictures in the 'Dropbox > Camera Uploads' folder on my laptop disappeared. (The files from Dec 3, 2015) These files are still in my Dropbox online space, so I can see them on Dropbox.com. Selective Sync for this Camera Uploads folder is 'ON' and the sync is 'up to date.' So the picture from Dec 3, 2015 ~ Jun 3, 2016 should appear in my PC but they can't be seen. I exited and re-started Dropbox and also re-booted my computer, but it didn't help. Recently, our RDP Server is having some trouble. Remote users will use the RDP Server to coect to the Application Server, while users that are in-building, will coect directly to the Application Server. The issue recently is that remote users, using the RDP Server to coect to the Application Server, will get the C0000006 Exteal Exception Error. When the first user gets this error, the error will spread out to users slowly until everyone using Program#1 and Program#2 get the C0000006 error. Rebooting the RDP Server fixes the issue the majority of the time.
