Currently, if I order by Name the Task Manager show Apps and Background Process in two groups. But if I order by CPU the groups separation are lost and all process and apps are show together. If I Google for "what's my IP" before and after I enable a VPN add-on (Zen-Mate) on my browser (chrome), I get two different IP addresses. I'll call these two addresses my base IP and VPN IP addresses, respectively. When the VPN chrome add-on is enabled, the VPN IP address seems to work only for requests I make via chrome. Requests performed through other apps/tools (e.g. VLC or youtube-dl) produce the same results as when the VPN extension is disabled (IOW, they retrieve content different from what I get with chrome, or fail altogether). I don't know why but a couple of days ago all my file previews disappeared. I'm a photographer and need to see the image previews so this is obviously quite a big issue. I'm using Windows 10 pro. I have checked the settings in 'folder options' and unchecked and rechecked the 'show thumbnails instead of icons'. I have searched for a solution to this problem on the inteet for months, to no avail. Whenever I use putty to SSH to a server from one of my Windows 7 machines (64bit, PRO), I am constantly seeing control characters appear as if typed in by my computer. I am not touching the keyboard. It's so bad that it will cause the session on some unix hosts to drop spontaneously, and also causes havok if I try and edit programs on the server. Basically it's a nightmare. I'm creating an excel document with a number of different required settings to make the process of logging vacations and business trips in my companies division easier than the current system. Currently I'm stuck on one small part of the assignment and would like some advice. I am creating an email appointment through outlook that will send out a message to the necessary associates to make certain they know but don't have their calendars busy. This task is easy enough, I set the email message to "free" meaning their calendars are not cluttered yet they get informed. I'll preface this with that I'm uncertain if Gnome 3/gtk3 is at fault or VcXsrv, or a combination. With VcXsrv 1.18.1.1 and 1.17.2.0 I can't resize some gnome 3 gui applications over ssh -X with PuTTY+VcXsrv (VcXSrv is an Xming alteative I use for better clipboard support). I have client-side targeting setup to handle some remote workstations on our network. They VPN in from time to time -- so they can hit the inteal WSUS server when they are coected. I essentially want to set their Windows Update configuration via GPO to use inteal WSUS, but to download the updates from the inteet (Microsoft). I'm hoping someone can help me. At work, my Excel spreadsheet froze while I was working in it. I couldn't type or move into any cell, nor could I save or close the file. I'm using KDE on CentOS 7 on one machine and KDE on Kubuntu 16.04 on another. In both cases I've set Alt-Shift to switch keyboard layout. However, in Kubuntu Alt-Shift-XXX is still free: I can make use of Alt-Shift-5 [aka Alt-%] in Emacs and Alt-Shift-o [aka Alt-O] in Krusader, where as in CentOS all app-specific shortcuts featuring Alt-Shift are broken. I would like to breath life into this old printer. The printer is 100% working and it was in use, but the old P3 PC (with Win XP) which it was coected died. The replacement PC is sadly ruing Win 10 Pro x64 and it can not be downgraded at least not legally. The printer is coected directly to the PC on the parallel port as it was on the old PC, but I can not make it work. I am currently using Koding to launch an AWS EC2 Instance and use it for my development. I supplied the access credentials through IAM (Key and secret code) and that was all I had to supply for launching an instance using the script provided in the Koding. However, I’m now at the stage where I need to coect my instance through PuTTY on my Windows machine and it requires me to supply my .pem file but I never received it in the first place! I'm trying to apply conditional formatting to a few hundred rows of data, but I want to keep them separate. Meaning, if I want to coloring cells based on their proximity to the average value, I want that average value to only be computed using data in its particular row. While my data-set was small, I was simply using the format painter as Microsoft suggests (and was one of several answers to this related question. Now that I have hundreds of rows, however, I can not manually copy the formatting to each individual row especially because the "clipboard" resets each time. There is much information here and on the web about merging/combining the data of several spreadsheets into a single one. I want to do something much simpler but caot find how. I have several files, say A, B, C, each containing a single Sheet1. I want to group the sheets into a single document, say D which will eventually contain Sheet1_1, Sheet1_2, Sheet1_3. This can be done "by hand", one at a time, using the Copy/move spreadsheet entry in the context menu of the spreadsheet tab. But I have around 40 files, so how can I automate this?
