In GUFW, the Ubuntu graphical firewall app, how should I interpret the "report" tab?

Pretty basic question - I've looked at the Ubuntu documentation wiki (which is the documentation linked from the gufw.org website), but it doesn't even mention the "report" information never mind explain the interpretation.

The most basic question is what do the red and black colouring mean, presumably they're ports that are allowed/blocked respectively?

But I should like a full description - what's the number column represent, does the reported address show traffic actually moving or is it how ufw is set, what is the relevance of the application (again is it saying that application is sending/receiving traffic or is it just the normal port association, eg from /etc/services file)?
