I am using a server 1GB ram machine server, 1 core processor (as a set up, the free tier instance on AWS) to serve API REST GET requests that occasionally compute sub-graphs and matrixes on demand using scientific python modules. I want to expand web service on a larger machine, to host more datasets: I look for a cheeper solution with no need to oversize the machine. I am helping myself with benchmarking sites [e.g. http://serverbear.com] to compare server types, but I don't have expertise in making a decision between type of VPS, cloud, dedicated, IO server and technical features. Could you help in selecting server type requirements to compute graphs / matrixes on spot and serve extracted ...

Problem is I've never setup a NAS before and I basically want to make myself a redundant cloud storage device out of it. I also don't want it ruing 24/7 and would like to setup a Wake-on-LAN feature (if that's what that does). I also need to reformat all the drives and delete any old files off of them. I've installed the utility and can access the NAS from my desktop, just don't know where to go from here. So how do I wipe, reset, and setup my redundant cloud storage to be accessed from anywhere and get a power setting schedule or wake-on-lan feature setup? Thank you -G L...

Our house is composed of two floors and in each floor there is an ADSL socket, to which is coected each of my two routers (using ADSL filters). My problem is that i can't get the two routers to work at the same time. In order for one of them to work properly and coect me to the inteet , the other one should be shut down. So, is there any kind of configuration that could be made in order to get the two routers to work properly at the same time? N.B: The two routers are separated by distance and caot be linked to each other (LAN-to-LAN or Lan-to-WAN). Thanks in advance Let's block ads! بخوا...

When I plug the Fulla into the Anker USB hub, the device is not recognized. When I plug it directly into the Das Keyboard or the X1 Carbon laptop, the Schiit Fulla USB 2.0 DAC amp works. This leads me to believe that the Anker USB hub is the problem. However, the Das Keyboard is plugged into 2 ports in the Anker USB hub. Hence, I'm asking the following: What is servicing and what does the servicing stack do? How does the servicing stack work? What roles do CBS, Windows Installer, WinSxS, and Windows Update play? What utilities does Windows provide for interacting with the servicing s...
