How do I setup a Techus N7700PRO NAS with 7 x 1TB disks for redundant cloud file storage on my network? (Never used a NAS before)

I was given a Techus N7700PRO with 7 x 1TB WD Caviar Blue drives in it all in healthy condition. Crazy good score, right? Problem is I've never setup a NAS before and I basically want to make myself a redundant cloud storage device out of it. I also don't want it running 24/7 and would like to setup a Wake-on-LAN feature (if that's what that does).

I also need to reformat all the drives and delete any old files off of them.

I've installed the utility and can access the NAS from my desktop, just don't know where to go from here. So how do I wipe, reset, and setup my redundant cloud storage to be accessed from anywhere and get a power setting schedule or wake-on-lan feature setup?
