Unable to coect to HostedNetwork which I had previously coected to

I have two laptops, one ruing windows 7 and the other ruing ubuntu. I am using company wifi which I can coect only one device at a time.
I set up a hostednetwork on the windows laptop (using netsh wlan ... ) and coected my ubuntu laptop to it with no glitches.
This was yesterday. Today when I tried to coect again, the ubuntu laptop keeps trying to coect (the wifi symbol keeps animating) and doesn't coect to the network. I tried setting up a different network, removing the old one. I tried using virtualwifihotspot tool, but no results.

What might be the problem?
