I'm using data coections in excel to link to data exported from another software package. The analysis I do relies on dates captured by the software and it is very helpful to group by the dates and doing other operations on it. The spreadsheet I created last week worked perfectly and Excel handled the dates as it should. When I updated the coection this week, all the groupings in my pivot tables are messed up because Excel just treats the date string as text. I have not changed anything in the spreadsheet apart from updating the coection. The date column in the exported spreadsheet is automatically formatted correctly. I currently have a Windows 7 Professional OS ruing on my laptop. I have the Vshpere Client 6.0 ruing on it. I installed the server OS through the Vsphere Client. I'd like to install Windows 7 on an empty hard-drive (and Linux thereafter). EFI is enabled in the BIOS. So, I choose "Boot UEFI DVD" for the Windows 7 installation DVD and then I let Windows create a partition. It automatically creates a 128MB MSR partition and my requested partition. Shouldn't there be an additional 100MB UEFI partition? How can I get that? (I've tried following that way, but Linux didn't find Windows later. I have a Macbook Pro coected to a Dell P2714H IPS 27-Inch monitor. It coects with a mini display port to display port cable. (The monitor has only a large display port coector, it does not have a HDMI coector.) It works fine. This is a close up of the above mini display port to display port cable. It works fine. I would prefer to coect with HDMI. The reason is so that I can put my HDMI switch in the middle, and be able to switch the monitor to the macbook or windows pc. So I got a mini display port to HDMI cable + a HDMI to display port adapter. It does not work. It all seems to fit fine, but the monitor is blank. I wondered if the adapter is bad, so I got another one. It still does not work...

I downloaded the Windows 10 update launcher from Microsoft that I did on several other machines, but for this one it will not start. I tried ruing all the updates and then a reboot. Still nothing. Does anyone have any ideas that could cause or fix this? I ran an update repair tool as well. No error messages show. So, I have Asus WIFI router, which uses 208.67.222.222 and 208.67.220.220 DNS servers. My devices have 192.168.1.1 DNS server. I added some sites in https://dashboard.opendns.com/settings/. I am in the process of building a customized image for our developers. I have a virtual machine set up with windows 10 on it, and was hoping that I could enable Remote Desktop coections and allow a developer to go in and install everything. For some reason, even with Remote Desktop enabled, the firewall completely tued off, TermSrvs ruing, I caot get Remote Desktop to even coect to the virtual machine. Lately, whenever I try to edit an image using Image Object > Edit the following message appears: The program used to create this object is Photoshop. The program is either not installed on your computer or it is not responding. To edit this object, install Photoshop or ensure that any dialog boxes in Photoshop are closed. This is strange because for some images I can still do that. I will mention that every image in my document is a JPG file edited using Photoshop. Also I have all the dialog boxes closed in PS. I have open vpn server ruing on a raspberrypi with debian jessie. And it works fine with the open vpn client for windows. But the same ovpn file configuration that works for windows 7 does not seem to work for Android or IOS. It coects but then it does not route any traffic. It can't resolve any domain. And I can't ping google's ip (for example). I have an application on our server, the application's job is to print a file. When I run the application I see the printer start spooling in the printer window, I see files (briefly) get written to c:windowssystem32spoolPrinters before being deleted but nothing comes out of the printer. I have printed a test page from the printer so I know it's working (the document I want to print is a pdf and I've printed that through acrobat acrobat to the same printer on the server so I know it's not an issue with my document either). I am transferring files from one linux computer to a mac. The coection sometimes drops out and I restart again. This is usually fine, but I have to check everything for corruption as a result. rsync -avc takes its time to to run the checksum, but then declares everything in order. I have double checked this with md5sum and found they are different. Substantially different. It seems that either rsync's checksum is too simple (crc?) or just not working. linux rsync is 3.1.1 and on os x i have tried the native 2.6.9 and homebrew installed 3.1.2 any ideas?
