I've a question about SSH reverse tuel. I've an ubuntu server with sshd installed. I open ssh reverse tuel from a remote machines, on that machine the coection is restarted every time the tuel is interrupted. Whenever a tuel is opened, on the SSH server i can see two coection using netstat. One listening to the interal server port. Then other on an exteal port. The latter one is the SSH tuel. As example. given 138.10.20.10: my ssh server and 10.34.23.12 my remote pc, 5000 the port on my remote pc i would like to access to ssh -R 1122:localhost:5000 [email protected] Now server side i've two listening coections, which looks like this tcp6 0 :::1122 :::* ...

I'm ruing Ubuntu 14.04. I need someone to tell me the steps I need to take to fix this issue... It's not my Inteet problem because I'm able to wired in on my other laptop. So it's obviously something wrong with my laptop. It makes no sense that It was working perfectly fine yesterday and then today dead... I did not installed anything . Things to know My mac address is not blocked (contacted my Network Administrator) Wired coections works when I got home but not at work. Tested the wired coection on another laptop and it works Etheet port is not damaged. Test it out with an adapter(same outcome) What are the steps I need to take to diagnose this? ifconfig eth0 Link encap:Etheet ...

Okay so I was basically ruing a server on a domain, and this is the first time, but when I logged in on the website, Google Chrome gave me an Error "Your coection is not Private" and I couldn't proceed to next page. So I don't know why but I ran CMD and typed in netstat -ano. And lot's of IPs and stuff came up with "Established" and "Time_wait" etc. Then I scrolled down and saw this: TCP [::1]:58109 [::1]:27275 SYN_SENT 6484 TCP [::1]:58110 [::1]:18821 SYN_SENT 6484 TCP [::1]:58111 [::1]:7754 SYN_SENT 6484 TCP [::1]:58112 [::1]:27275 SYN_SENT 6484 TCP [::1...

hopefully I've phrased the correctly appropriately! Using windows 7 Pro SP1 On my laptop, I have to use both a wired and wireless coection - some traffic (eg accessing specific systems) I can only access through the wired coection - and others only through the wireless coection. Both are company on-site coections - they're just not very joined up. At the moment, I have to switch between them through the day - if I leave both on, it's hit or miss which coection windows will try and use (but usually the wired), so I unplug/disable the one I don't want and then change back when I need it. Is there a better way of directing specific applications / protocols through to a specific coection? Or, if...

Since updating to Windows 10 1607 (the "Aiversary Update") my shared WiFi adapter isn't shared any more. I share the WiFi coection with a Hyper-V switch so that my VMs have Inteet access via the Surface Pro 2's WiFi coection. But since the update, this only works after manually disabling and re-enabling Inteet Coection Sharing. Otherwise the inteet sharing doesn't work even though the option is set in WiFi properties. An ideas? Let's block ads! بخوانید...

I know that this is a common problem with a known solution. A quick web search tus up many results that point you toward the ServerAliveInterval (or less commonly the server-side ClientAliveInterval) configuration options. Setting one of these to some arbitrary value such as 15, 60, or 120 will solve the broken pipe issue. My question is why? Why does this happen in the first place? Who is closing the socket? I have my doubts about the OS killing the coection due to inactivity, given the fact that the TCPKeepAlive option is enabled by default, which causes TCP keepalive messages to be sent in order to detect clients dropping offline. So the OS won't see the coection as inactive anyway. In th...

Today I made some tests with nmap on my home network. I launched nmap -n -sn 192.168.1.0/24 The scan completed and gave expected output. Strangely enough, after the scan has completed, I have lost my inteet coection. I logged in the modem and verified that DSL link was down. I immediately thought the scan made my DSLmodem-router-AP crash, so I waited some time and rebooted the modem. I don't know why but even after the reboot, the modem reported DSL link down for several minutes. More precisely, during these minutes of link down the link state moved back and forth between activating and handshaking states. After some minutes the link became active. Needless to say, everything was working ...

here is my problem: I have successfully created a VPN server on Windows 10 Pro, forwarded the necessary port (tcp and udp) and I can coect from another Windows 10 Pro computer ( through inteet ). Both computer belong to WORKGOUP. The problem is that the client computer caot access or discover the remote network, like public and shared folders, but I can browse the inteet. In advanced sharing settings, I have tried tuing everything to "on", for public and private networks, I even tried tuing off the firewall on the host computer but nothing works. I have tried to access the folders using servers.ip.address.herePublic and serveamePublic But nothing works, if I right click "Map a network drive"...

Right now I'm ruing a java app by SSH-ing to a VM on Google Cloud Compute. I issue a command to run the app and it loads a console. As soon as I terminate the SSH coection, the app shuts down. I assume this is because the console has been closed. I would like this app (which is a server) to persist after I terminate SSH, and, at any point, I would like to be able to recoect to the console and issue commands on the server. Thank You! So mine and my partners computer both coect to a wireless network. My partners coection are doing fine. My coections are very unstable. Both computer need to go through the same wifi repeater So computer -> 192.168.10.253 -> 192.168.1.1 -> google.com These are the screenshot of my computer The ping is 500 ms. It's not always like this. I used to coect just fine. I used to play games with low pings. Sometimes I got a strange message as if my computer should coect through a proxy It seems that as if I am coecting through proxy 216.108.225.199:60099 I have no idea what IP is that. Virus? In local coection, I refer to the server using his netBios name with no problems at all (As it's expected to be), but when coected over VPN, I only been able to coect using the VPN ip. The VPN server is a Windows 8.1. The clients are also Windows but linux too. I'm using openVPN in all of them. I read about WINS. But it's said that it's obsolete these days and it can be replaced with DNS. I have to say that I didn't find any tutorial easy to understand to implement an inteal DNS (Can You recommend me good literature about this?). I think the Host file is involved in that, but I haven't figured it out yet. Let's block ads! بخوانید...

I frequently work remotely, out of reach of WiFi, and simply rely on tethering my Mac to my iPhone for inteet access. This works great, except I am unable to coect to one of my client's Cisco AnyCoect VPN Network using my Mac when tethered to my iPhone. I have spent three years vaguely looking for a solution and the last 48 hours trying solidly, so would be grateful for help. To be clear: MacOSX coected to Anycoect VPN via wifi inteet works fine. MacOSX coected to VPN via tether to a Samsung S7 LTE works fine MacOSX coected to VPN via tether to an iPhone, via either Lighting USB or Wifi, does not work By "doesn't work" I mean that I have no inteet access whatsoever (chrome displays DNS_PROBE...

Thank you Eva G.: - This registry key controls the "Terminal Services Client" and that's used by Remote Desktop in windows. Whenever a group policy get updated or changed in any way and the admin's server pushes out that policy, this coection gets denied and forces us (the user) to re-login into whatever machine we were just coected to. After upgrading to Windows 10 I am encountering problems with frequent loss of (inteet) network (one problem is Network on home computer gets lost, adapter should be disabled/enabled to restore network access). I am solving this loss with disable/enable on 'Local are coection'. However somtimes disable completes succesfully and adapter is disabled but it is impossible to enable it again - any repeated call to 'enable' does nothing, adapter remains disabled. The last solution is restart of computer and then all is working again. I have Aspire laptop coected to wire inteet, recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Let's block ads! بخوانید...
