I had a desktop computer before and this fighting stick of mine was working pretty well. Before I got it to work, it was not recognized by the operating system (Windows 10). Now, I bought a new laptop and the controller is perfectly recognized but does not work at all. I have tried advices from steam forum but these advices are only for those who could not get their controllers to be recognized. What I literally want to do is to make my controller recognized as a game controller. But it is recognized as an usb device. When I try to change the driver, I have two options, and both of them does not work for me. What shall I do to make my computer recognize my fighting stick as a game controller...

Hi on a dell latitude laptop with Windows 10, for a specific user account keyboard doesn't work after the login screen. But it starts working back only when we launch on-screen keyboard application. And it also continues to work even after we close the on-screen keyboard. So far we've tried to uninsall keyboard driver but this didn't solve our problem. And nothing suspicious on system start. First to answer the programs read-only problem. Since the network share is controlled by windows, windows only allows certain users privileges to do things. It could be its a public share, IE anyone can view it to download files ect, but not change it unless specifically added to be able to do so. Since you are using Mac, which is similar to Linux. Not every linux application you are using, is using the same user name that you are currently logged into on your Mac or Linux. I have a batch file that I am making as a little joke for my friend. It's supposed to make a batch file in the startup folder that opens the youtube link to a rick roll. My problem is that whenever I run it, it opens an empty command prompt. It still runs the code you see bellow, and it also opens the youtube link like it should and it closes both normal windows normally. I am ruing multiple task sequences within a deployment share, with each task sequence I want to set different rules, so I edited my CustomSettings.ini priority to "Priority=TaskSequenceID", and have rules for each task sequence : [Settings] Priority=TaskSequenceID Properties=MyCustomProperty [TASKID01] OSInstall=Y SkipCapture=YES ... I am currently using Ubuntu Mate 16.04. When the system starts up the NetworkManager applet does not display any wireless networks. The only "solution" I currently know is to issue sudo iwlist scan on the command line. Afterwards NetworkManager sees the networks and I can register to my WLAN. This is quite aoying to do every time I boot the system. Is there any permanent solution for this bug? PS: I have also confirmed with rfkill that the device is not software blocked. After upgrading to Windows 10 I am encountering problems with frequent loss of (inteet) network (one problem is Network on home computer gets lost, adapter should be disabled/enabled to restore network access). I am solving this loss with disable/enable on 'Local are coection'. However somtimes disable completes succesfully and adapter is disabled but it is impossible to enable it again - any repeated call to 'enable' does nothing, adapter remains disabled. I have created an Ubuntu instance at AWS, and afterwards installed the GUI module LXDE - and it all works fine. But when i try to copy and paste it doesn't work from Windows(10) to Ubuntu (latest version at AWS) with LXDE (GUI) module installed over RDP... after i copied a file in windows... and i go to the menu in LXDE it says "Paste" - But nothing really happens when i use it, nor does the key CTRL+V work...? I am using Excel 2016 from Office 365 on Windows 10 and I can't get my horizontal bar chart (stacked) to show my 3 sets of values on each stacked bar. Can anyone help? This is supposed to be a chart like a Gantt chart to show the progress of a progress over several months time. I'm ruing collectd to gather metrics from my home lab, as well as my home energy usage, and feed it into influxdb to display in grafana. If I launch collectd via command line: collectd -C /etc/collectd/collectd.conf collectd runs, collects other metrics, and collects my home-energy usage just fine (i see values in influxdb). If I try launching collectd via it's init script /etc/init.d/collect start Collectd starts, gathers metrics, however I don't see any results in influx for my energy colection script. In InDesign CS6 on Windows I'm trying to add stroke between cells but not in the outer perimeter of the table/cells. The cell stroke dialog looks like this on InDesign CS6: In InDesign CC 2014 and CC2015 the dialog did not change, I tested both. In the web I found some help about this topic and I came to an image like these two (link one, link two): As you can see the cell stroke dialogs are different from the versions I tested because they allow the user to choose the stroke in the middle of the cell (vertical and horizontal middles). I am using SoftEther VPN for a long time. Recently I have reinstalled the Windows and it does not coect using TCP, and just coects over UDP. When I try to coect over TCP, the software instantly (it is so fast, that I believe it doesn't try to reach over network, and it is local problem!) shows following error message: Error (Error Code 2): Protocol error occurred. Error was retued from the destination server. I shall mention that I have encountered this problem once before, and at that time reinstalling the windows solved the problem (and I didn't get the real problem). I recently cleared my TPM (Dell e7240, Windows 10). During the process, at no point did Bios or Windows ask for a new TPM password. (And at no point since I bought this laptop did I ever set a TPM password, to the best of my knowledge.) I have tried clearing both via Windows (with TPM.MSC) and via Bios, and with neither method was I asked for a new password. TPM.MSC reports that the TPM is "ready for use", but if I click "change owner password", it asks for the old password, despite me having just cleared the TPM. I'm using the VMware Guest SDK library to figure out the CPU ready time of the virtual machine ruing my application. According the VMware documentation, the method VMGuestLib_GetCpuStolenMs of the vmGuestLib provides this value: The time (in ms) that the VM was ruable but not scheduled. However, if I chart the CPU ready time for the same virtual machine in the vSphere client I get different values. For instance, whereas I get CPU ready times between 0 and 22ms in the vSphere Client for 20s intervals, I get stolen times of 8500 to 9500ms using the VMware Guest SDK library for the same time span. I would like the fans to automatically adjust speed based on appropriate inteal temperatures. I have a dual-boot with Windows 10 and it works as expected under Windows. However, when I log in to Ubuntu, the fans are quiet for about 30 seconds and then spin up to what I'm guessing is about 70-80%. I took the following steps: sensors-detect service kmod start sensors pwmconfig The output of each of these commands can be found in this pastebin. I don't know much about hardware/drivers/modules, so I'm a little out of my element. pwmconfig obviously isn't finding the fan(s), but I don't know why or what driver/module to look for to get it to work. I made a successfull port forwarding with the following: Machine A: iptables -P OUTPUT DROP iptables -A OUTPUT -p tcp --dport 53 -j ACCEPT In /etc/rinetd.conf I changed for: #bindaddress bindport coectadd coectport Ip_Machine_B 53 178.33.250.62 80 Machine B: iptables defaults settings... So by typing 178.33.250.62:53 in Machine A browser I get the proper page displayed (with this content: "It works!"). But after deleting the latter configuration from rinetd.conf and restarting rinedt service, I CAN STILL CONNECT on 178.33.250.62:53 from the browser of Machine A.
