I have an Nvidia 1070 and three monitors. Two are 1080p one is 1440p. I run Windows 10 x64. Say I have google chrome (it happens to other windowed apps) maximized on one of the side 1080p monitors. SOMETIMES when I lock the computer and come back to it later (after the screens have gone to sleep -- my computer never goes into sleep mode though), the window will have shifted from maximized position to 50% to the right and 50% down but still the same size so it's off the screen...It's not always in that position though, but it seems like it thinks my screen is 1440p on the side and it repositions things weirdly. I'm not sure how to better describe this. I'm hoping someone has had this problem ...

I'm playing around with my fresh Windows 2012 R2 VM and am following this guide to convert it to a 'workstation'. I have network discovery on and all the other advanced sharing settings necessary on my server-tued-workstation. I have a Win 8 VM that is hosting a shared folder and my win 10 machine that's hosting a shared folder. The majority of the time, I'm able to access the shared resources. The problem I've run into is that if I restart my Win2012 VM, my mapped coections break. I run into "The useame or password is incorrect" error. I have forgotton my iphone 4s passcode and im not able to unlock the phone. Each failure it increases the interval time and finally it is asking me to coect iTunes to restore . However, i tried to coect iTunes and then clicked on Restore iPhone option. Its upgrading iOS and finishing time approximately 3-4hrs If i upgrade iOS, will it unlock the passcode? Since I have upgraded Windows 7 Pro to Windows 10 Pro, I notice that Windows would appear unstable immediately after unlocking. It doesn't happen right after a very recent restart, however as time passes by (I normally put it to sleep every evening and leave it ruing but locked during the day), it get progressively worse. I frequently work remotely, out of reach of WiFi, and simply rely on tethering my Mac to my iPhone for inteet access. This works great, except I am unable to coect to one of my client's Cisco AnyCoect VPN Network using my Mac when tethered to my iPhone. I'm having some issues getting a VPN to work as expected. I have a 2012R2 server at home. This acts as a public-facing web server, inteal file server, and a few other things. I'm trying to have it function as a VPN server so I can access the SMB shares from elsewhere and so other clients can coect to my LAN over the inteet for network gaming. I've installed the Remote Access role, and set up a VPN on the server. All seems fine. I can coect to it exteally and authenticate fine. The server status shows that the client is coected. I have someone asking me for a fonctional setup under these conditions Microsoft Outlook Google Apps contacts/email/calendar 6-7 PST files for a total of ~45-50 Gb Syncing via iCloud to iPhone Windows 7/10 No lag Do you think a powerful setup (much RAM, SSDs) is enough? It still isn't the best method and I can't get that someone to sort their e-mail so the size shrinks to small enough to be usable on some cloud service, like gApps (too expensive to have it all there). I have downloaded iTunes for windows to get voice memos off my phone. I tried syncing it and there was a large voice memo file that did not get exported ,it gave an error so I tried it again the process completed without any errors but the library did not get updated. I tried reset sync history, reset, reset cache options from the preferences but that did not resolve the issue. I also deleted another voice memo that was exported successfully from the library but on syncing again the library does not get it back so what am i doing wrong? The DSL coection my office usually uses is currently offline due to an service outage and I'm trying to tether to a phone as an emergency fix. Here's what I'm doing: I've got the Inteet coection propagating across the network, but I caot establish the VPN coection. It seems that either (1) the AT&T wireless network or else (2) the bridging PC is preventing the VPN traffic from getting through. AT&T support denies they're blocking any traffic. I have a windows server 2012 R2 box ruing as my domain controller and I am having some trouble with DNS. I have DNS records setup on the DC for a few sites that we want to have the inteal IP different than the exteal IP. Our main DNS records are on godaddy.com. So for example the DNS record on the DC would be set to 192.168.1.2 mx.foo.com and the one on godaddy would be 173.12.58.1 mx.foo.com. This works fine but the problem I am having is if I make a new DNS record on godaddy the Domain Controller won't resolve the address until it is manually added. Right now if I add a DNS record in godaddy anyone that is using the Domain Controller as their DNS server will not be able to resolve the url ...

I have a job that runs fine when I run it manually. It basically creates text files and ftp's them to the remote server. But when I schedule the job in Win Task Scheduler it creates the text file but the ftp fails. I am ruing it as local admin user and I tried everything like placing the directory details in Start In option, ruing with high privileges, using full path names etc. The job is scheduled in Windows 2003 and it runs fine. Can anyone help.
