So Chrome freaked out one day and wouldn't load any pages. After completely uninstalling and reinstalling and reinstalling again using the dev chael and tuing off account sync and removing all history from the servers (ouch), I actually got it to work again as a browser but all my extensions are dead. They show the little puzzle piece (like in this question) and when I try to access the options or use them I get ERR_FILE_NOT_FOUND. I have tried uninstalling them all countless times, via right-click and via the trashcan icon in the chrome://extensions/ interface. When I open Chrome again they are back. That "legacy console" option should only be available on a shortcut to cmd.exe, not on cmd.exe itself. So hopefully something is wrong with your shortcut and not with the actual cmd.exe. Try browsing to c:windowssystem32 (or whatever your system dir is), then ruing cmd.exe directly from there. Alteatively, press WIN+R and run c:windowssystem32cmd.exe directly. If that works like normal, then just delete the existing shortcut that's giving you the problems and create a new shortcut, that should fix it. After upgrading to windows 10 I have this aoying problem. When I use two finger scrolling, the icon that appears during the scrolling gets stuck on screen. My PC is coected to a WIFI access point to access inteet. That is working fine. Now, I have coected an embedded system (say a router) to my PC using an etheet cable. Now I am able to ping exteal addresses like google.com etc. as well as my embedded system's ip (192.168.1.1) from a command prompt. So, basically my PC is using both the interfaces successfully. I am able to browse any exteal website as well as the embedded system's admin login page from IE. But Chrome is only able to browse exteal websites, it is not able to access the embedded system's login page. I think - Chrome is trying to use the WIFI network interface for accessing the page and hence fails. How can I force chrome to use ...

Chrome is being very aoying, and I need some help fixing the issue. My company is using Chrome in a Windows Terminal Services environment. In Chrome, opening a pied website (on any of our terminal servers) often (though not always -- it's intermittent) results in the browser locking up and Chrome throwing a "The pages have become unresponsive. Problem: When using google chrome browser (51.0.2704.103) on OSX (10.11.6) I often find myself losing my carefully ordered window placement between my many desktops. This happens if chrome happens to quit, or whenever OSX restarts. OSX tends to remember desktop allocation per application, but all chrome windows get bundled in the same desktop whenever chrome restarts. I'm searching a google chrome extension to reduce my time wasted on some website (facebook, youtube etc...) Here is the behavior I'm searching for: I want to be able to add any procrastination website url (facebook, youtube...)in the extension preference panel. Then, every 5 minute I spend on this particular website, I want a notification to appear to inform me how much time I have wasted. ( for example a javascript popup saying "you have wasted 20 minute on this website today"). I just clean installed Windows 10, and ever since, none of my inteal Chrome popup windows appear. This means clicking on an extension toolbar button or the bookmarks star will do nothing but make the button appear pressed (see screenshot). I was doing some normal things on my MacBook Air when an application froze. I pressed cmd+alt+esc to open the task manager and force quit the application. I then decided to restart my computer for good measure. Once my laptop restarted, a message saying "this computer is scheduled to reboot" appeared. A few moments later it proceeded to reboot, and I then logged in as usual. From this point forward my computer continually repeats this process, and reboots after saying "this computer is scheduled to reboot", which pops up about 30 seconds after the previous reboot. So I can log in and perform some actions, but only for a short period of time before it reboots again. What can I do to fix this?...

I just upgraded to windows 10( with chrome as my browser ) but just like when I was using windows 7, I still could not use the mouse wheel to scroll up/down.I used to be able to click on a page ,then tu the wheel to move a page up/down. What I actually have to do now is to click on a blank area of any page ,let the star shaped thing appear,then move the mouse up or down a bit and the page automatically moves,the wheel does absolutely nothing.
