I installed Gnucash on my Mac OS X El Capitan, but I'm having problems with titles and headings on the interface and reports. By following the advice on here https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/FAQ#Q:_How_get_I_rid_of_strange_unreadable_characters_or_adjust_the_font_size I've managed to get rid of the problem on the interface and the headings on reports, but the problem still affects the titles of reports (see image below). I would like to create a Regular Expression String that counts the number of characters in each line. If it's longer than say 10, 12 or 15 characters it would take the number of characters in the line and divide it by two. Next have it jump to the begiing of the word that starts before the half way point and select the space, then replace it with the "|" character at this spot. I've installed Windows 7 32-bit(Ultimate SP1) & Windows 10 64-bit(Pro RTM) in the same laptop but in different partitions. But when I run dxdiag.exe(Run as admin. for sure) in both, Windows 7 retus Dx11, while Windows 10 retus Dx10. It's good to say my hardware supports Dx11. I have a Transcend USB 3.0 SD and MicroSD card reader. When I plug it in, it won't show up in the windows 7 file explorer, but it shows up properly in DiskPart and device manager in windows 7 which says it is operating properly. I Caot access any files on any SD card placed in the adapter. I have another old SD adapter that works fine, but I want to replace it with the non-functioning adapter. I have a query wrt to getting the styles in word to show in the style gallery. Just updated Windows 10 to aiversary update and was very excited about new notification badges, only to find out that they only shown on large taskbar buttons...bummer! Anyone know any work around this limitation? At least for the tray notifications icon. I have an Asus A555-LF laptop with 4GB integrated RAM(1333 MHz DDR3) (non removable) and an extra RAM expansion slot. I installed another 4GB RAM to the laptop (1333MHz DDR3), but my BIOS, Windows 10 and Ubuntu doesn't detect it. Is there a way to set up Microsoft Windows so you can enter accented characters (with diacritics, such as é, ř, ...) by holding a key and then selected the variant you like? I mean the similar way which works on tablets and mobile phones. E.g. you hold the key e and instead of auto-repeating the same character the system would offer you a small menu on the position of the cursor offering é, è, ê etc. Note: I am aware of other ways to enter accented characters. Newbie PowerShell user trying to mess around with some very basic scripts. I have a 4 TB drive coected to a Dell H200 controller. The drive was formatted in Windows using GPT and correctly shows 4TB in Windows. The same drive in the same computer booted up in linux (Ubuntu 16.04) is not fully recognized as having 4 TB. I have recently built a Mini ITX system based on a Pentium 4 CPU (P4 HT 631).The CPU was bought off Ebay for 5$ and the motherboard was salvaged from a local recycling center. The system works fine, it boots in Windows, i can browse the inteet, watch videos ,etc.. .The only problem is that it runs quite hot (expected because of the P4). Okay this is a very weird problem. This computer is a Dell Vostro 3558, came with Ubuntu, which I removed, tued off secure boot, switched BIOS to legacy, changed HDD to MBR, and installed Win 8.1 Pro (x64). I generally use a USB 3G modem to coect to the inteet - hence didn't get to test the WiFi adapter right after purchase, but from a week or so I'm using my phone's inteet sharing over WiFi option to coect this notebook. this is how i keep my notes i'm making notes in file name and streching the name column and looking at them in detailed view in windows7 explorer. I am using Sublime Text to find some text in a file and make some changes to it, using the "Replace" command. When the thing I want to change is selected, if I click the "Replace" button, pick the "Selection → Replace Next" command, or press Command + Option + E, the editor makes the appropriate change, and then moves the cursor to the next occurrence. This is especially aoying if the next occurrence is far below where the replacement is made, because the viewport immediately scrolls down to the next occurrence, without giving me a chance to see the replacement, make sure it was done correctly, and manually correct it if necessary, without having to scroll back up and look for it. Setup: OSX 10.11.5 El Capitan. Default (5.0.8) and/or brew installed zsh (5.2). I have strange issues with zsh, where it seems to: a) mask single characters and b) adds strange control characters. This causes problems with pipes and parsing. It seems like zsh is adding extra or removing characters. It hasn't always done this, so I think it might be a configuration issue.
