I installed Gnucash on my Mac OS X El Capitan, but I'm having problems with titles and headings on the interface and reports. I have two HP Z27s 4k monitors connected via DisplayPort to my hp PC running Windows 7. Due to issues related to font scaling, I've been running both for at least a month at 2560x1440 without significant problems. I'm getting a Dell Inspiron 7559 with initially nothing but a 256GB SSD which has a Windows 10 pre-installed. It will have a slot left for a hard drive and I plan to put in the one I currently have in my laptop which has Windows 7 installed. In Sql-Server Management Studio I change the following (IMPORTANT) setting in Tools > Options... I change to 2 and 2. I've restarted my machine several times but whenever I open a new instance of SSMS it has been reset to 4 and 4!! Can anyone help make this setting stick? Started to happen recently after one of the updates. IE10 would work fine and then freeze opening another link/tab. I can see that under running processes there is iexplore 32 bit and regular running (machine is 64 bit VM) If I kill processes - it will work fine until next time I open tab. I'm still trying to get a remote access to the MS SQL Server on one of my Windows machine. I allowed the access on my Windows firewall as can be seen here and here. I also opened the port on CoMoDo FW as can be seen here. But trying to access the machine from the Linux with busybox telnet 192.168.1.4 1433 does not produce "Connected". When my roommate tries to connect to the wifi from his room, the router cut off. I think the problem is only when a device is in his room. We are having no issues while using the inteet in the hall or in my room. He used to connect to wifi from his room before. What could be the reason for this? I have a Win 7 Pro x64 machine, which I run without a monitor and connect to via Real VNC. When I connect a high res (2560x1600) monitor to it, then I can select that resolution, and VNC lets me use it as well. However, the second I disconnect the monitor, VNC downgrades the resolution to 1920x1080, even though VNC shouldn't care. How can I keep the VNC resolution high? My friend has a Dell Inspiron 15 N5010 laptop/notebook which has recently not been working so well and has a number of issues. In the past month I upgradged from Windows 8.1 to W10. It all went well but now my PC has been shutting down on it's own. In the past when I bought laptop's I'd get the smallest / cheapest (SATA) HDD available and then swap it out with a better one from newegg.com.
