IE10 started to freeze on Windows 8 VM

Started to happen recently after one of the updates.

IE10 would work fine and then freeze opening another link/tab. I can see that under ruing processes there is iexplore 32 bit and regular ruing (machine is 64 bit VM)

If I kill processes - it will work fine until next time I open tab.

Main question is what is that and how to fix it? (Another person in office have exact same issue, so it's not just me)

Secondary question is: How do I upgrade to 8.1? It's VM, it's Enterprise. 8.1 update is not available in Store anymore. And I can't upgrade IE10 because it requires 8.1
