I hope this is the right place to ask this. My University lets students download a preconfigured executable of OpenVPN, where the settings are already branded in. Fairly frequently, google drive on OSX will pop up with a message that tells me some files were unsyncable, with the offer to retry. I run a ubuntu nas with raid6, mdstat does not indicate that anything is wrong, but when i try to read files on the raid volume, i am only able to read about 1/4 of the file, and the file transfer fails/freezes. Hard Drive checking in Windows reports a lot of unnecessary info, requiring that you read through it the chkdsk report, etc. Also chkdsk can't fix problems on an in-use files (like the Windows drive). Hi on a dell latitude laptop with Windows 10, for a specific user account keyboard doesn't work after the login screen. But it starts working back only when we launch on-screen keyboard application. My system drive has suddenly lost it's file structure and I'm trying to find a way to get it back to life without reinstalling OS.
