I'm starting working with ROS2 (currently in alpha7 state). For this I build up a small network with an Raspberry Pi (Raspbian Jessie) coected to an router via LAN and an host PC (Ubuntu Gnome 16.04) coected to the same router via WLAN. Inside the host are some virtual machines (using VirtualBox) installed with Debian Jessie and coected via a bridged network (wlp4s0). I can also use ping, ssh and scp between all my machines (Rasp, Host, VMs). I found that the Rasp doesn't coect to the VM's but the VM's are in contact to each other. So I can send messages between the VM's. But a talker-listener-coection between the Rasp and the VM's doesn't work. Can anyone give me some suggestions to find ou...

My Postfix server was working fine until last days but now, I can't receive emails from outside (I mean with an email of different domain name like gmail for example). I must make notice that I can send email from the server to gmail. This is a difficult issue to Google. I recently set up a Storage Space (3x 4TB) in Windows 10 and it worked as expected. No parity (Simple) as it’s only for backups. I then added another independent drive (1x 4TB) to the PC and in the process of trying to get Windows to recognise it I probably booted up with only 2/3 of my pool drives coected. Even with all three now coected; I now have no visible pool shown in Storage Spaces. This is fine - I'm happy to start again as it's only for backups - but the issue is Windows won't recognise any of the three drives (the new, non-pool drive is recognised) so I can’t format them and start again. I have a pair of earbuds with a microphone that I would like to record with instead of the terrible inbuilt one. Unfortunately, when I plug it in it still uses the inbuilt one. The icon next to the jack indicates that it is speaker and microphone, and the end of my audio jack does have four rings. The microphone works fine on my Android phone, so I know it isn't the earbuds' fault. I remember when I first plugged them, there was a dialogue menu that asked what I wanted to coect it as, and I selected sound and tried to select microphone, but it only let me use one so I selected sound and told it not to ask again. I'm struggling to understand a behavior I can't explain in a sample network. Basically I want to be able to switch some of my servers by redirecting to a different server (so that I can point my applications to some database server for example and then switch the database coections to another server without changing the applications). I'm probably going to use something like rinetd for that, but I'm curious why some iptables rules are not working as I would expect. The sample network had 3 servers: gw (192.168.0.1/24), s1 (192.168.0.2/24) and s2 (192.168.0.3/24). gw is the default gateway for s1 and s2. I have a Dell Latitude E6540, Windows 7 Pro SP1; installed programs list includes "Intel(R) PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth(R) Technology". If I right-click on that in Control Panel / Programs and Features, I get options for "Change" and "Repair". If I choose "Repair", it operates for a couple of minutes, then tells me that "Bluetooth Device Monitor failed to start"; it suggests I ensure that I have sufficient privilege to start system services (which I do; I run out of an admin account all the time on this machine). I have network with a range 10.0.0.0/24. This means I have 10.0.0.0 to 10.0.0.255, however I caot use 10.0.0.0 or 10.0.0.255, but I can use anything between that. Why is this? I've installed a trial copy of MS Project 2010 on Windows 10 the other day, completed a task then uninstalled it, using the System settings dialog for programs and features. Now a few days later, Windows Update wants to install updates for Office 2010, such as Service Pack 2. I however have no Microsoft Office products installed in this machine, not currently and not before. How can I keep Windows Update from trying to update an install that's supposed to be not there? I am using Virtualbox 5.1.2 and have set up 3 guests VMs: 2 Windows 2012 and 1 RHEL 7.2. All three have the same network adapters: NAT for Network Adapter 1 and Inteal Network (named intnet) for Network Adapter 2. I have disabled firewall on all three guests, firewalld on RHEL 7.2 and Windows Firewall on the Window boxes. I can ping and telnet between the Windows VMs but I caot ping or telnet to and from the RHEL VM. I'm not really an expert in networks, so I feel there may be additional steps in the Linux side. I have a Vmware ubuntu 15.04 virtual machine, and I can't acces my buil-in lenovo webcam; when i run Cheese it says: "no device found" and when i type lsusb on the terminal, no webcam is shown. ACPI is tued off by default on my freshly installed Ubuntu 16.04 and it seems because of that only one CPU core is detected, resulting in a lot of performance issues. Tuing ACPI on grub makes the OS unbootable. Ubuntu would get stuck on a page with no relevant error. I searched around and it doesn't seem to be a common problem. So, this weekend I attempted to install DD-WRT on my router (WNR3500Lv2, latest Kong build)... and I'm not sure how it went: I can no longer reach my router admin page. 30-30-30 resets don't appear to have any effect. router boots, and lights up properly (although might be taking a while). wireless light is on, but nothing I have can see the wireless network. Wired coections work, sort of: I can potentially ping other machines on the network(might only work if the destination requested a static ip); tuing on network discovery does result in the computers being visible in Windows.
