I need a small script to download some programs. The URL's never change but the files do. Like when you download malwarebytes. Example: "https://downloads.malwarebytes.com/file/mbam_current/" The address doesnt change but the file name downloaded does. Every script i see, requires that you specify a file name. I dont want to do that, I want the script to pull the filename from the sites header which would include the version name of that file in that filename. I cant seem to find any way of doing this. I'm an L2 helpdesk guy and I have a user whose Lenovo L440 will not coect to wifi. The wifi icon in the notification area shows a red X and the "tu wireless on" button is greyed out in the Mobility Center. When she presses F8, it shows that wifi is on. The adapter is enabled and "allow to tu off to save power" is unchecked. We've reinstalled Pro/Set Wireless, and tried to install the adapter driver from the Device Manager. When I uninstalled the device there, checking the "remove driver" checkbox, it did not find the driver in Windows Update and I had to install Pro/Set Wireless from the Intel website. Recently started working as the tech support for a small company. Recently I leaed that they've all been experiencing graphical glitches with Microsoft Office that I think might be a symptom of larger issues. Has anyone ever seen a graphical error like this before and if so how was it resolved? I'm playing around with my fresh Windows 2012 R2 VM and am following this guide to convert it to a 'workstation'. I have network discovery on and all the other advanced sharing settings necessary on my server-tued-workstation. I have a Win 8 VM that is hosting a shared folder and my win 10 machine that's hosting a shared folder. The majority of the time, I'm able to access the shared resources. The problem I've run into is that if I restart my Win2012 VM, my mapped coections break. I run into "The useame or password is incorrect" error.
