Are DVD-RW's usable after rewriting 10~20 times?

I usually use xfbu for rewriting DVD-RW's.
When I insert one of DVD-RW's that has experienced rewriting many(10~20) times into my PC and try to rewrite the DVD-RW,xfbu fails in rewriting.
When I use Brasero,the result is the same.
And in some cases after the insertion of the DVD-RW,my PC continued reading it without end,so can't mount it.
Are there any means to aoid these situations?
