I wanted to set automatic rules for Quiet hours features in Windows 10. I want quiet hours to automatically activate during specific time. In Windows 10 Mobile I have done the same by going to Cortana->Notebook->Quiet Hours. However I caot do the same on Windows 10 PC. There is no quiet hour page in Cortana's notebook on PC. I am making several websites on a single workstation, so I want to test them in more or less isolated environment. Having some Linux background, I decided to make a chroot for each of these web apps. To be able to launch my app handlers from inside the chroot, I wanted to forward the visibility of /usr/local/bin to the chrooted container, but I fail to see a direct equivalent of mount --bind. I have a windows server 2012 R2 box ruing as my domain controller and I am having some trouble with DNS. I have DNS records setup on the DC for a few sites that we want to have the inteal IP different than the exteal IP. Our main DNS records are on godaddy.com. So for example the DNS record on the DC would be set to 192.168.1.2 mx.foo.com and the one on godaddy would be 173.12.58.1 mx.foo.com. This works fine but the problem I am having is if I make a new DNS record on godaddy the Domain Controller won't resolve the address until it is manually added. Right now if I add a DNS record in godaddy anyone that is using the Domain Controller as their DNS server will not be able to resolve the url ...

I was given a Techus N7700PRO with 7 x 1TB WD Caviar Blue drives in it all in healthy condition. Crazy good score, right? Problem is I've never setup a NAS before and I basically want to make myself a redundant cloud storage device out of it. I also don't want it ruing 24/7 and would like to setup a Wake-on-LAN feature (if that's what that does). I also need to reformat all the drives and delete any old files off of them. I've installed the utility and can access the NAS from my desktop, just don't know where to go from here. I am interested in - using or studying - several different languages, and I often Google-search a unique word to gain context about its usage or meaning (within the context of the language it belongs to).One thing that bothers me, is that Google will retu first many results that do not contain the keyword I entered in the search box. i have tued on ftp mounts in cloud9 preferences . i have to enter Name, hostname useame, password and remote path as specified in the link below https://docs.c9.io/docs/ftp-mounts. I tried entering ip address which came when i typed ip addr show in the terminal but it failed. I tried entering random hostname and host address but didnt work either. Currently I'm using ecryptfs - it's a software layer that encrypts my home folder with a key which is in tu encrypted with my password, and it hooks into PAM to unlock it on login. Unfortunately, ecryptfs is slow. If I haven't accessed it in a while, a simple ls ~ can take up to 20 seconds... I'd like to switch to ext4 encryption - since it's way faster and can generally do everything ecryptfs did. I'm on debian sid, but as far as I know there isn't any overarching project that I can one-liner install that will do the same as ecryptfs with ext4 encryption. I want to install Active Directory Domain Services on Windows Server 2008 R2. I found this nice tutorial here. The problem is that the in the first step, it says to change/configure the IP address of private network. Now here are my questions: In Network Coections, there is only Local Area Coection, and there's no private thing. Do I have to create it? How? Instead of repeatedly double-clicking tens of setup files (*.exe), can batch-installing at once be possible? Or at least one double-click is enough to sequentially activate them? The closest Google solutions would be Ninite and Speed Install. However, both only offer choices of some preset, well-known, programs, not customizable enough to embrace some of my stored (*.exe) files. Background - I'm trying to bulk download some videos from a website. I have all the links and while I can manually open the .bat file and paste the link (and repeat), I was wondering if there is a way to automate this so I could perhaps paste the set of links I have and either have it download continuously (so finish one and move on to the next) or any other automated way? So I am having trouble at school being kick of the network for no reason, being throttled and being blocked from school related sites. I am using Linux. The school has no problem with it but the school it person said they can only help me I use Windows 7. I came up with an idea where Windows 7 will be installed on a virtual machine which will be coected to the inteet and school domain and have a proxy server installed. The host computer will not be coected to the school network so I will only be able to coect to the inteet by coecting to the proxy first. Also I would be the only person able to access it.
