There are a number of drives that support the BD-R XL standard that defines the triple BD-R TL and quad-layer BD-R QL formats. However, I've only seen triple layer media available. For the manufacturers to claim quad layer capability, they must have tested this during product development. Indeed, when I worked on firmware for DVD writers myself in the early 2000s, we had reference media for all the formats our drives were to support. The BD-R XL standard has been in use for several years now, but why aren't there any quad-layer discs? Let's block ads! بخوانید...

I'd like to be able to run a curl command on my local machine or on my server, and have a push notification be sent to my cell phone. I can already get the same effect with a text messaging service, but I was wondering what push notification services are available. Basically I want an alert on my phone when events happen, for my own personal use, and was wondering what's the best way to do that. Let's block ads! بخوانید...

In my previous question, I tried to block certain websites using the hosts file. Now as I am the administrator of the system, I waa limit the ability to write on hosts with a password.I have read this question. But I don't like 3rd party softwares, because I think you can always sneak out by uninstalling the software. As you see in the following photo, I have checked deny for the write access to the file.I want to be able to alter deny to allow just by entering a specific password that is different from the windows password which is used to log in. Is there anyway? Let's block ads! بخوانید...

All, I was trying to classify the HDD with the bus type. I knew ATA which SATA , PATA belong to . and SCSI which SAS belong to . But I also heard about PCIE, M.2, ZIF, FC etc. Are they also bus types? How many bus types are there indeed ? Thanks....

I'm able to use a wifi network only when my window is open. Since I'm living in a student's building where you need to pay for inteet, it makes sense for the manager to try to block the wifi coection from the university which is on the other side of the street. It would also explain why they installed a metal grid outside half of the window... so not only for safety purposes. Still when I open the window I get coection, which is crazy. It wouldn't be crazy if wifi blocking window filters exist... Let's block ads! بخوانید...

I'm trying to build a one page news site that is supposed to be projected onto a wall, like a billboard with the local news. This is what I'm trying to replace; This can be done a lot better with wordpress and some plugins. The problem is that the beamer has a very flat resolution, about 1280 by 800 pixels, so I need as much space as possible. I'm looking for a very empty theme that only has a small header in which I can place the logo, preferably in the center, and a log in button for the editors. I've searched around for a full day, but I still couldn't find a good theme. I'm not familiar with PHP, however, I have installed jetpack and I am able to modify the CSS code. Does anyone know a g...
