Are there any BD-R XL Quad Layer / BD-R QL blu-ray media?

There are a number of drives that support the BD-R XL standard that defines the triple BD-R TL and quad-layer BD-R QL formats.

However, I've only seen triple layer media available.

For the manufacturers to claim quad layer capability, they must have tested this during product development. Indeed, when I worked on firmware for DVD writers myself in the early 2000s, we had reference media for all the formats our drives were to support.

The BD-R XL standard has been in use for several years now, but why aren't there any quad-layer discs?
