Hard Drive checking in Windows reports a lot of unnecessary info, requiring that you read through it the chkdsk report, etc. Also chkdsk can't fix problems on an in-use files (like the Windows drive). Hi on a dell latitude laptop with Windows 10, for a specific user account keyboard doesn't work after the login screen. But it starts working back only when we launch on-screen keyboard application. My system drive has suddenly lost it's file structure and I'm trying to find a way to get it back to life without reinstalling OS. Is it real to make this beast work again without enormous amounts of time or should I just recover all the crucial stuff and reinstall everything? I search in my IMAP folder Archive/2016 for the term "foo". There are several messages containing this word, but the search (ctrl-shift-f) tells me that there are not messages with this word in the body. I use "search on server".
