I have 1 NAS, with 2TB of Storage, 4 Exteal USB HDD Drives from 250Gb to 1TB, a lot of USB Flash Drives. They all have some duplication of files as I have copy them from one to another to safe keep. I've installed debian 7.1 to my USB stick. For some reasons, installer didn't ask me about grub location, and just installed it. Now, when I start laptop without usb I see grub resque mode ("Error: no such device: .... ") , when I start it with USB things go as supposed - I see menu and can boot to Windows and Debian. I had a desktop computer before and this fighting stick of mine was working pretty well. Before I got it to work, it was not recognized by the operating system (Windows 10). Now, I bought a new laptop and the controller is perfectly recognized but does not work at all. I have tried advices from steam forum but these advices are only for those who could not get their controllers to be recognized. today i tried to install openSUSE Leap 42.1 on a SD-card. I used a USB stick as installation medium. So far everything has gone well. The installation finished without any problems. Then I went to the Bios to select the SD-card as Boot Option #1. But I couldn't find the SD-card there! What do I have to change in order to make the SD-card appear in the BIOS? Thanks for your help! I have a Transcend USB 3.0 SD and MicroSD card reader. When I plug it in, it won't show up in the windows 7 file explorer, but it shows up properly in DiskPart and device manager in windows 7 which says it is operating properly. I Caot access any files on any SD card placed in the adapter. I have another old SD adapter that works fine, but I want to replace it with the non-functioning adapter. I cloned my existing 500 GB HDD to a new SanDisk 1 TB SSD (via CloneZilla). I have the SanDisk Ultra Extreme Micro SD 64GB SDHC/SDXC Card CLASS 10 UHS-I (Not anymore at sandisk card section) and i use it in my Galaxy S4 i9500 phone to save pictures on it. I have windows 8.1 x64. Now, i insert the micro sd into Sandisk ImageMate All-in-one and coect it to my computer. I start transfering files from it and suddenly the device discoected! Even when i try to just see the properties it gets discoected. I must say it was allways working for me without any problems. Can you guys tell me why it is happening or how to fix that? yesterday, I updated my Windows 10 x64 Build 1607 installation, and after the updates were finished, I decided to manually reboot. That took me to a black screen with a set of white circles rotating at the lower end of the screen. This process didn't stop, so after 10 minutes or so I began googling on another computer, finding a possible solution: unplug any USB receivers, and when I tried this with the USB receiver of my Logitech M510 mouse, Windows booted immediately to my desktop. Since upgrading to 1607, i have lost the ability to access a few of my USB drives, most spessifically and urgently, my Garmin Foreruer 15 GPS watch. The motherboard is an ASUS Sabertooth 990fx with the AMD 990FX/SB950 chipset. I have tried the watched plugged in to USB2 and USB3 ports. I have the latest drivers from both windows update and AMDs catalyst updater. When i plug the watch in, i get the drive letter, but when i attempt to access it, i get "Please insert a disk into (G:)".
