Problem: When using google chrome browser (51.0.2704.103) on OSX (10.11.6) I often find myself losing my carefully ordered window placement between my many desktops. I had a MBP with the magic trackpad one and i was able to rotate the orientation of the track pad so that it was rotated 180* following this Is it possible to invert the trackpad orientation for Mac OS X? I have a macmini - which stands behind a LAN with a static ip 10.0.0.2 - that serves as a VPN thanks to the OSX server VPN functionality. It works and I can access my network remotely. My macmini also hosts a virtualbox linux instance, connected with bridged + promiscuous mode. I have had a situation where I cannont access the inteet and the network preferences list etheet interface connected to DSL modem has self assigned ip address and cannot connect.
