I have been trying to install the Nvidia drivers on the latest version of Debian, but all I have been getting is a black screen. When I hit ctrl alt f2, I can get to a terminal, but I am not sure where to go from here. When I try to reinstall the drivers, the terminal basically says that these 3 packages encountered errors while processing: libgl1-nvidia-glx:amd64 Nvidia-driver Xserver-xorg-vidia-nvidia So clearly this is my issue, I just do not know how to fix it. I wanted to install secondary hard drive, I putted the hard drive in its place and I connect the power cables and the sata cable. I have a Dell Inspiron One 2320 pc with Ubuntu 16.04 and Windows 10 in dualboot. When i boot into Windows, everything works smooth. I'm trying to install kali linux on my pc. I bought dvd-rw discs and bued the AMD x64 ISO on it. But when I select UEFI:mydvddrive there is just black screen and my DVD drive is running. I've got a new PC from Lenovo and it is just hanging when installing KB3020369. I have tried a heap of troubleshooting steps including using wsusoffline, but it is still stuck. I can't find any logs for why it's stuck on this msu in event viewer or WindowsUpdate.log (the latter may be irrelevant when using wsusoffline). Thanks for your help in advance.
