I have Fedora 24 installed using Hyper-V on top of Windows 10 (anniversary update) Trying to get the Hyper-V vGPU working, but Fedora does not recognizing it, and it doesn't even recognizing the video device if i don't have the vGPU enabled. I have been trying to install the Nvidia drivers on the latest version of Debian, but all I have been getting is a black screen. When I hit ctrl alt f2, I can get to a terminal, but I am not sure where to go from here. My system drive has suddenly lost it's file structure and I'm trying to find a way to get it back to life without reinstalling OS. Is it real to make this beast work again without enormous amounts of time or should I just recover all the crucial stuff and reinstall everything? I have Acer Aspire E5 laptop . From Ubuntu I shifted to fedora 23 . Thene sometimes I faced the problems of freezing . Recently I upgraded to fedora 24 . Currently my colleque is deploying some updates and Installations on 120 machines with PDQ Deploy. So far, everything works fine with silent install. However, one comes with some driver which requires confirmation from Windows Security. I tried to bypass this by disabling UAC, but still, this click is required. I just received two Dell UltraSharp 24 U2415 monitors, which proudly boast "Award winning monitor with unbeatable color".
