Fairly frequently, google drive on OSX will pop up with a message that tells me some files were unsyncable, with the offer to retry. I run a ubuntu nas with raid6, mdstat does not indicate that anything is wrong, but when i try to read files on the raid volume, i am only able to read about 1/4 of the file, and the file transfer fails/freezes. My system drive has suddenly lost it's file structure and I'm trying to find a way to get it back to life without reinstalling OS. Is it real to make this beast work again without enormous amounts of time or should I just recover all the crucial stuff and reinstall everything? Assume I have my general dropbox folder, and my Photo/Video files in an another folder: /mnt/myhd/Dropbox /mnt/myhd/MyPhotosVideos Now, how can I upload all files from MyPhotosVideos to Dropbox without the need to copy/move them inside the Dropbox folder? The problem with working too late. In ssh I was trying to remove a folder I created in /usr/sbin but forgot to add the folder name so thus the entire sbin folder was instantly deleted.
