Adobe reader won't save pdf files

Version 11.0.11 of Adobe Reader gives me the following error message when I try to Save or Save As :

Except I have plenty of room in my temp folder and on the disk in question.

I am able to save on a network drive with 0 issues, but that is a workaround not a solution.

How do I resolve this so I can save files on my harddrive without issue?
