I want to know if there's a service that could do the trick for me. I want a client, an option, anything for a cloud service like dropbox, Drive, OneDrive etc, which would only download the file and all the child files to make it work (like an .exe requests .config files for example) to the computer when I open it, and offload those to the server when I'm done, just for the purpose of freeing space in the local drive. More or less like a NAS would do, where you can see all the items, but they're stored somewhere else. It is not possible to use tabs within the Windows Command Prompt. You can use applications such as Cygwin on Windows, or Bash on Ubuntu on Windows (http://www.howtogeek.com/249966/how-to-install-and-use-the-linux-bash-shell-on-windows-10/) but I don't think that you will have Tab availability on these still. I have an executable that needs to run every time a user logs in. It needs to run in the context of that user, but with root permissions, as if the user had run it with sudo. I have looked through Apple's documentation as well as the website launchd.info for a way to do this, but haven't been able to find anything. If I create a Launch Agent (in ~/Library/LaunchAgents or /Library/LaunchAgents), or a Launch Daemon with the UserName property set, it runs as the user (as desired), but I caot do anything that requires elevated privileges. I am ruing a Windows 8.1 (64 bit) system that I would like to convert into a VM to use with VirtualBox. I have used the sysinteals disk2vhd converter to create a VHD of my system, but the resulting VHD file does not work with VirtualBox. Booting the VHD in VirtualBox (by creating a new VM and pointing VirtualBox to the VHD file) results in a "FATAL: No bootable medium found." error. Searching online revealed the problem to be that Windows 8.1 boots using (U)EFI instead of a normal BIOS. VirtualBox contains an "Enable EFI" feature, but it does not work: Enabling EFI bypasses the "No bootable medium" message, but instead causes the system to boot into an EFI shell, which lists several "BLK map...

After hibeation, which always worked without incident, the computer would not reboot. Instead it would flash the screen, go black, and repeat. When attached to another computer, the disk was seen as "uninitialized." Recovery software could see all of the files and file structures. I used that software to catalog everything and used another program to make a sector image copy onto another 1TB drive. The question is, is there a way to rebuild the boot sector and keep all the files? In other words, can this damage be undone so that I end up with a bootable working drive? Using the developer tools in Firefox one can see detailed information about requests to and responses from the webserver (HTTP header and content, timing information, status codes and so on). I wonder if there's a possibility to also see similar request loggings for the DNS resolving somewhere that are done before the HTTP protocol even takes over? After an instruction, for example, pop {pc} writes an invalid value, say 0, into the pc register, CPU will try to fetch the instruction located at 0, which will usually trigger a segment fault. While handling the fault, we can read the values of the registers, including that of the pc register, which is 0 in this case. Obviously, if we could lea the address of the instruction that caused the invalid pc value, like the address of the pop instruction above, it would help us a lot more with debugging. My house there is a one fiber broadband port and fiber modem coected to this port using fiber cable. Then Wireless router coected to the fiber modem using CAT6 cable. Now I got another Wifi router and I'm planing to use that to improve Wifi signal strength back side of my house. I know I can directly coect this new Wifi router to the existing router by disabling the DHCP at the new router. But I would like to know, technically is it possible to coect new router directly to the fiber modem? For Windows 8.1 on a Surface Pro 3 using Adobe Reader XI 11.0.10. If I disable touch mode, the scroll bar permanently appears but I'm now not able to touch to scroll. If I enable touch mode, the scroll bar only appears if I touch the screen. Then 3 seconds later, the scroll bar will auto hide itself. I know it's possible to have touch and the permanent scroll bar at the same time; you need to press the "Toggle Touch Mode" button. However, I don't want to have to inform the users to do this every time. There doesn't seem to be a preference/option in Adobe Reader itself that does what I want.
