Hi on a dell latitude laptop with Windows 10, for a specific user account keyboard doesn't work after the login screen. But it starts working back only when we launch on-screen keyboard application. And it also continues to work even after we close the on-screen keyboard. So far we've tried to uninsall keyboard driver but this didn't solve our problem. And nothing suspicious on system start. Is it possible to have the keyboardlayout in one language, say german and the windows system language in another language, say english?...

I have two input languages in Windows - English and Ukrainian. I configured them to have Ctrl-Shift-1 and Ctrl-Shift-2 shortcuts respectively. I have installed windows 10 on an old tablet (Paceblade 200) and having installed the touch drivers I now find that I am unable to get the touch keyboard to show, and that the settings for the touch keyboard are completely missing from the settings app. I have tried following the instructions detailed here: The Windows 10 onscreen keyboard does not launch automatically But the setting referred to is simply not present in the settings app. The screen appears to emulate PS/2 mouse input, so perhaps any instructions that allow the touch keyboard to work with an ordinary mouse would also work in this case. I prefer my keyboard repeat rate and delay to be as high as possible. I've always enjoyed immediate response when typing or holding a key. I'm not sure why this is happening or if there is any correlation in when it occurs, but my keyboard repeat rate and delay keep reducing to a very low level (presumably default settings). But the Keyboard Properties never reflects whatever changes are occurring. Every time these settings slow down, I'm forced to go back to these settings, and toggle one of the settings lower and then higher so I can Apply those settings. Here is the situation : (I'm on Windows 10) I need to use a barcode scaer (Riotec FS5027L model) for a software I'm currently working on. They gave me a programming quick guide that simply said i needed to install the PL-2303 USB serial Driver. So I installed it, and plugged the barcode scaer. Windows quickly detected something and installed it. I then wanted to run the checkChipVersion.exe given with the driver installer to see which chip is used by the barcode scaer, and for that i needed the COM port number it was using. It seems there is already an accepted answer for Windows 7 here. Has anyone found a way to increase the keyboard repeat rate for Windows 10 beyond the Keyboard Properties control panel? My settings are maxed out on the keyboard control panel as you can see in the following linked image, yet the repeat rate is far too slow for me. Keyboard Properties I've also tried modifying my registry keys as mentioned in the previous answer, but after logging out and back in, Windows sets the registry entries to all zeros, and enables Filter Keys.
