I have a room full of machines that I have been upgrading from home to pro (Windows 10). All machines that are NOT aiversary update 1607 can be joined to a domain with no issues. All that are the aiversary update will allow me to join to the domain and it restarts and asks for the useame and password. Put in my credentials and it provides a generic "caot log you in" error message. I've also noticed lusrmgr.msc is missing (Local users and groups) in all of these 1607 upgrades. The earlier build -- no issues and lusrmgr is available. It's my understanding pro should be able to be joined to a domain. Is this not the case? Thanks ahead of time! :) Let's block ads! بخوانید...

That "legacy console" option should only be available on a shortcut to cmd.exe, not on cmd.exe itself. So hopefully something is wrong with your shortcut and not with the actual cmd.exe. Try browsing to c:windowssystem32 (or whatever your system dir is), then ruing cmd.exe directly from there. Alteatively, press WIN+R and run c:windowssystem32cmd.exe directly. If that works like normal, then just delete the existing shortcut that's giving you the problems and create a new shortcut, that should fix it. I have a MacBook Pro and I ran Bootcamp to install Windows 10 Pro x64. All is well with both OS's. I know that I can't encrypt the entire Bootcamp drive, but everything I've read points to being able to use EFS to encrypt a folder, which is sufficient for me. I encrypted a folder, it went through the process, but never showed the directory as green. To confirm that it did not work, I booted to the OSX partition and was able to open all the folders on the Bootcamp partition, including the folder that has encryption tued on. I've created a bootable usb3 ruing an encrypted persistence version of the latest kali linux. I've successfully booted up from 2 other machines; 1 ruing windows 10 and a 2015 razer blade. My problem seems to be that my Windows 10 profile was somehow corrupted while I was working on Ubuntu 16.04. I'm not entirely sure what happened, however I do know that logging in caused me to be directed to a temporary profile. I quickly Googled the matter and followed this guide which directed me to deleting my profile's registry keys. This fixed the temporary profile problem however Windows has now created me a new account directory. I just had two drives go bad. Looks like faulty sectors. But I run chkDsk regularly. Unfortunately, it's a manual process. Also, you have to look at the report and read the # of bad sectors, rather than having a simple flag that pops up only WHEN there is a problem. I have some elevated programs that open Firefox. However, I don't want Firefox to run as an elevated process because when I try to open links from non-elevated programs later, it doesn't open in Firefox. The only way I can make Firefox "retain" it's non-elevated state is if I had it open before I open the links from the elevated programs. I want to go a step further and make it so that when an elevated program tries to open a link in Firefox even if Firefox is closed, Firefox will get launched in non-elevated state. How do I do this? Here's the situation:1. Open a fullscreen game that has a small resolution (old games for example, or even more recent games made in certain engines like rpgmaker).2. I have a home network with mix of cat5 and powerline networking. The number of nodes has grown over the years as my kids have, but the general layout has been in place in pretty much the same configuration for many years now and has worked very well.
