Zsh is completely frozen

~1 year ago, I switched to zsh with oh-my-zsh. Yesterday, it was humming along and working just fine. I've made absolutely no config changes since then. Today, opening iTerm and it's completely frozen.

I don't mean slow startup time, I mean just completely frozen. I've been waiting for about an hour now, and it's just doing nothing. It's behaving like ruby -e "while true do gets; end" basically. I tried disabling oh-my-zsh by going into bash and Idea out the line export ZSH='$HOME/.oh-my-zsh' but with no results. I've tried solutions such as Idea out the entire .zshrc file, moving every .zsh-file (.zsh-history, .zsh_favlist, etc), doing sudo rm -rf /private/var/log/asl/*.asl (as suggested here, even though that wasn't exactly my problem), with no results.

Some system information:

OSX v10.11.6 Beta; zsh version 5.0.8 (x86_64-apple-darwin15.0); bash version version 3.2.57(1)-release (x86_64-apple-darwin15)

How do I move forward?

Thanks in advance!
