How do I install Python to run with apache with mod_wsgi?

I have my apache local server already running php 7 with a virtualhost named "groovebox", I tried installing python with different methods (mod_wsgi, fastCGI), none of them worked, and in between I messed up server 2-3 times, which I had to install again. I don't want to install xampp or something. I want a clean install of python (no Django or something) to run along with php without any issues with mod_wsgi. How do I do that? No online tutorials worked for me.
