generating the 5.9 GHZ frequency on normal radio module

I am looking for one 5.9 GHz transmitter and receive, but I saw price for that are too high. Is there any specific hardware requirement for that?

Is it possible to generate 5.9 GHZ frequency using any wireless router or normal radio module?
