Micro SD card not working

I have a crappy Chinese ZTE G lux, a cheap phone I got because of I didn't need it for much other than some calls and other apps. It only came with about 2GB of inteal memory and it has already filled up; I have tried using a Micro SD card for extra storage and it just plain doesn't work.

I have reformatted time and time again, either two things happen. I tu my phone and it gives me an error that the SD card is damaged and I should try formatting it, I tap format, it say "cleaning disk" then disappears and the same error shows up in my notifications. The other time after certain random unit allocations after a format don't make the error pop-up, instead, I try to mount the SD card and when I try it just instantly notifies me that my SD card is safe to remove, and after a quick restart and re-insertion of the card, makes it pop up with the previous error.

I have tried, ex-fat, FAT32, and NFTS, in 4069, and up to 64KB in all format types. None work with the phone, and it detects in other devices. Any suggestions, apps, or methods to fix this?
