I am trying to get a dual boot setup with Windows 98 and Windows NT 4.0. I am planning on editing the autoexec.bat file on 98 to run ntldr on boot, therefore booting in to NT. I have thought of using multiple solutions for this, such as renaming ntldr to ntldr.com and trying to run it in DOS mode, or using the DOS version of LILO, lilo.com, and trying to boot to a secondary hard drive which will have NT on it.
So, my question is, is this possible to load ntldr, or any other bootloader, such as syslinux, grub, bootmgr, from DOS? Adding on to this, in Windows NT 4.0, there is a win.com file in the WINNT folder, just like there is a win.com file in Windows 9x. I've heard this was added for backwards compatibily, but does it actually work?
Also, can someone point me to a link for lilo.com, the DOS version of LILO?
