Laptop only plays audio on right side of headphones

This has been an issue since I pulled too hard at my headphones when I thought that they were longer than they are (aka months ago).

I've tried blowing into the input, checking the balance (they're the exact same), etc. etc. When I wiggle the jack/hold it down I get sound.

It's the same with all headphones I try, and my headphones work fine when plugged into my desktop and phone.

Is this an issue that can be fixed or do I have to pay to have someone repair it?
