Server can ping client, but client cant ping server

I am sitting on my VPN to the office network to be able to connect to my Ubuntu laptop.

I have a server, here at home, which I want to connect to my ubuntu laptop. The problem I have is that the ubuntu laptop at my office isn't able to communicate with my server (which is also over VPN to the office).

I am able to SSH into both my ubuntu computer and the server here at home, but the ubuntu is not able to ping the server. However, the server can ping my ubuntu laptop.

Is this fixable, if so how - or do I have to wait until monday and drag my server to the office?
