BBC Radio i-player keeps crashing - Memory overload

I have been using BBC Radio i-player for the last ten years, but now it keeps on crashing.
Usually I would log in through http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b006tmq9/episodes/player and then click on a program episode. I am running Windows 7 Pro on a Dell and 7 home basic on an Acer and both suffer the same problem. I have tried logging on with Firefox, Opera and chrome and all crash after a time – typically 7 – 15 minutes. Opera says memory overload. Chrome just says it has crashed and Firefox consistently comes up with the message Waing unresponsive script. http://static.bbci.co.uk/frame.../sharedmodules/jquery-1.9.1.js:14 or sometimes js 1 or js 21. Windows is fully updated and I have reloaded Adobe Flash Player. Inteet connection is 38Mbps fibre. I have cleared cache and history, got rid of any malware and re-started both computers, but Radio i-player still crashes. Everything else on both PCs is working fine with no problems. Upgrading to Windows 10 is not an option as I have many legacy programmes which I cannot abandon. Would anyone else try this web site and see if they have similar problems. Thanks for any help or other suggestions. Art
