windows installation [ Expanding windows files ] Error

I have a windows xp installed , when I put the windows 7 dvd into dvd reader and restart computer to begin install the windows 7 , in the step which prompt me to choose drive to install windows 7 on it , I format the drive then press install or next I don't remember but it's go to another window which begin install the windows actually in the step 1 in this window called "copying windows files" it's done correctly in step 2(the real problem) called "Expanding windows files (0%)..." after about 20 minutes give me an error "windows cannot install required files. The file may be curropt or missing. Make sure all files required for installation are available, and restart the installation error code: it's something like 0x8digits" and when I press on ok it's get me back to windows installation welcome screen ,,, the dvd works good before that so I think the problem not in dvd
