Brother 3150CDW wifi printer goes offline after reboot in Windows10

  • Can't make the "offline" status go back to "online".
  • I have a Brother 3150CDW and works perfect.

  • When I reboot my laptop with Windows 10, I get the printer offline.

  • It's not a printer's disconnection from the WIFI, but a Windows problem: If I go into the control panel, and I seek the printer's URL, and I enter the printer via the web, I can access it, I can see it's IP address to be the one that is assigned to it by the DHCP, and I can launch a test-page printing from the web. This proves the "network" works, otherwise the web server of the printer would not be accessible.

  • From inside we can browse, so the printer "is there":

  • Instead, when printing from the windows, the spooler keeps telling me that the printer is offline.

  • I've tried everything, from forcing the usage as offline, to restarting the spooler service.

  • And nothing. It keeps offline ("Sin conexión" in Spanish).

  • The menu connect is disabled in the windows spooler for this printer:

    Connect disabled for wifi printer

  • The port is a WSD with a weird name (seems to contain an UUID in it):

How can I make the printer go online?
