somehow after rtcwake command runs, the system time seems to change

I use fedora 21 for home server, and I installed rtcwake command with cron to save electricity to put it to sleep most of the time.

For about a week, it seemed to work fine waking up after predetermined seconds and going to sleep with rtcwake command triggered by cron. However, for the past several days, somehow after the rtcwake command is executed by cron, the server wakes up but does not respond to ssh or login.

So,I rebooted, and I found out that the system time seemed to have changed in the cron log and message logs as shown below.

Is this related to the on-board battery? If not, how can I resolve this problem or where can I look? Thank you very much.
