Audio app records through 3.5mm audio [on hold]

I am searching an app I can download that can record sound through audio port of my Kindle. There is plenty of of apps the record from tablet/phone speakers, but I need one that records through 3.5 mm audio chord that can plug into any phone or tablet. Any suggestions?
