Automated Scan, Save & Attach to Outlook

I've got a client who prefers to use their HP scanning utility. They had some miscellaneous tool that would skip the default program's need to manually save the file, type in a name and click done. When the scan was completed it would automatically save the file and attach it to a new email in Outlook. This is not the same as the scan-and-attach utility that you click a button in Outlook directly as that would not let them make the scanning adjustments that they're able to using the HP scanning utility.
