I am checking an SD card that was filmed with a Panasonic 4K AG-DVX200 camera. During the filming, the time-code on the viewfinder stopped running but the red light (indicating that it's recording) was on. When the problem was realized, the videographer tried to restart the camera but no buttons were working. He needed to take out the battery and put it back in to reset the camera. It then continued to film fine.
The problem is, looking at the footage, the files (each are about 4-10 minutes) are numbered correctly but there are definitely about 10 minutes of critical footage missing in between two clips. The question is, do you think that it was recorded and that one of the files is just showing an incorrect duration, due to some error that happened during the filming and that this can be restoredrepaired? Or maybe those 10 minutes were actually NOT recorded at all and there is no chance of being restored?
